1st Transmission [Video]

[brain_behind_purple]

[The screen flickers a bit before static pops up. The static slowly clears until the image of a pair of brown eyes with a purple bandana wrapped around it appears, a few locks of brown hair over the mast. The screen moves in a few directions before beuing oulled back and revealing the full face of the teenage boy holding it.]

Hmm... It looks like I was able to get some kind of video feed working.

[A small bluish-green turtle pops up next to the boy, a yellow ball inside it's plastron and a blue helmet covering the top of it's head.]

Really? That's great Donnie! That means that anyone else with a D-Terminal can see you!

I figured as much Kamemon. Hmm... Now if only I could figure out if this can send a video back to my world. Or at least see if someone can explain to me how the heck I got here and how the heck I got turned into a human.

Why? You don't like being a human? Sooo... What were you before?

[Sighs] As I tried to explain to you before, I was a turtle like you... well sort of anyways. But now I'm human and I ended up being sent into some weird world that is nothing like New York, and I have no way of figuring out how to get home! It's just too confusing!

[The screen shakes a bit due to Donnie freaking out, causing the D-Terminal to shake a bit. It quickly settles back down once Kamemon steadie's Donnie's arms]

Whoa, whoa Donnie, chill! Freaking out is just going to mess you up.. Just take a deep breath Donnie, deep breath.

[The screen shows Donnie taking a huge deep breath before his facial features relax.]

Okay, okay, feeling calm now. Still confused, but calm.

There you go! Sorry guys, Donnie can... over-react sometimes. But don;t worry, he's not a bad guy... usually.

[Gomamon doesn't respond, and instead just huffs and looks away.]

But I guess we'll be stuck with them for a while, so.....we might as well try to get used to it.

Yeah, I guess. I have three brothers, so it's not like it's anything that I'm used to.

Yeah? What are your brothers like? ...I've always been an only child.

Really? Well... They're great guys. My oldest brother Leonardo is a little bossy sometimes, but he'z a really nice guy. He's always looking after us. My second-oldest brother Raphael can be a jerk and he likes to punch me a lot. He cares for the family though, he just hates to show it. My younger brother Michelangelo is kind of naive and he loses focus easily, but he's a fun guy and he knows how to get a laugh out of anyone.

All three of them are great... [No, he wouldn't start missing them... He was failing.]

...They sound great, Donnie. ...I have a lot of friends back home that sound just like them, actually..

[Leo and Raph together remind him of Astrid. He smiles a little to himself just thinking about home, but quickly he shakes it off before the feeling of homesickness can settle in.]

...Well...I can't promise that we'll be home any time soon, but I'll bet that things will start making more sense sooner or later.

I really hope so, the sooner I get back to my family the better. I can only imagine what's happening over there while I'm gone.
