[On the screen, Garrus, scratches the back of his neck uncomfortably.]
After the human reaper, I didn't think anything could surprise me. Universe just loves proving me wrong, doesn't it?
Come on, Garrus, introduce yourself!
Hmm? [Garrus looks off screen at the source of the high, friendly voice before turning back to look at the camera.] Oh, ah, right. Hi, I'm Garrus Vakarian, and, ah ... hmm ... little help, Patamon? [Once again, he looks off screen at his digimon partner after stumbling through that attempt at an introduction. He's just not very good at this type of thing, is he?]
Wh-wha? Don't look at me!
Right ... thanks. [And once again, the newly human Garrus looks at the screen.] I'm, ah, I'm kind of new here, so ... yeah. [He's not exactly an orator on the level of Shepard.]

Where are you?
[You better believe she's coming right now.]
Ahh, right outside wherever it is I came in. [He says, instinctively looking around before he remembers he doesn't know any of the landmarks.
[Hmm ... that building two blocks north might make a good vantage point in a firefight.]
[The camera is flailing all over the place as Shepard does that 'putting on shoes without sitting down' dance, and Monodramon can be heard in the background.]
Commander?
Who was that? [Garrus asks, raising an eyebrow as he hears Monodramon's voice, unable to see what was talking given the camera's shaking.]
[She's already halfway down the stairs.]
Monodramon, you'll meet him in a minute.
[She grins at the camera.]
Gonna turn this thing off now.
[He grins right back.] Guess I'll see you in a minute, then. [He doesn't hang up first though. The fact that he's not going to be able to go home for what's more than likely going to be a long while is starting to set in, and he's glad to have a friendly face. Especially Shepard.]
[video] --> [action]
[By the time she catches sight of her boyfriend, she's nearly completely lost Monodramon, who is a winded dot in the distance. While she's normally pretty careful to account for her partner's much shorter legs... This is Garrus.]
[She doesn't bother with words when she gets there, grinning like a kid and half tackling Garrus with a hug, breathing hard from the run. Give her a second to breathe before the kiss assault begins.]
[action]
[Before Garrus can make some kind of quippy response, Shepard's attacking his lips like she hasn't seen him in months. He eagerly returns the kiss, pulling her in close so he can wrap his arms around her waist and grins in to her lips.]
Mmm ... I think could get used to this sort of welcome ... [He replies, smiling as they break for breath.]
[action]
I missed you, dammit.
[action]
I'm not going anywhere. I promise.
So ... is this the part where we ... shake hands? Not exactly sure on the protocol for reunions.
[action]
Don't get awkward on me now, Vakarian. The kissing was the appropriate response.
[She grins at him. She'd missed the inter-species fumbling, and it's clear that humanizing her other half hasn't changed it at all.]
[action]
If you didn't want awkward, well, you probably picked the wrong turian. Still, glad to know I'm doing something right. The vids never really covered this.
[Thankfully at least she knows what she's doing here.]
[action]
[She reaches up to touch his face, tracing along unfamiliar but familiar cheek bones.]
How do you still look like you when you're human?
[action]
I'm still caught up on the fact that I've suddenly changed species.
[action]
[And she sounds fairly sincere, too.]

Err, not that there's anything wrong with being human, of course, but it's just, ah ... Well, it's going to take a lot of getting used to.
