[he drops the D-terminal as whoever he was yelling at starts throwing balls of fire at him and the camera end up pointing down the street. Looks like he wandered into one of the housing districts. ]

[Terra gasps, and she keeps an eye on the feed, listening for yelling, for fireballs, for all that...

She runs, trying to find him.] Hey! Hey, answer me, keep talking!

[Only way to tell where he is.]

[sorry Terra, the shapeshifter you are trying to reach is no shouting things about this Digimon's mother. And if they are true she must be very popular at parties. The Digimon is responding in kind with more fire. And now more Digimon are getting into the action rolling up their windows to shout back at Beastboy, or throw things at him]

[The Digimon are still angry and one of them throws a rock. Beastboy shoves Terra out of the way to take the rock between the eyes and stumble back cursing like a sailor]

[And that tears it. Her shock turns to anger and she clenches her fist, and if she could, she knows, knows a rumbling would start up.]

HEY! STOP THROWING THINGS, NOW! [She wishes she'd brought Gotsumon with her. A hand gropes behind her to try and steady Beastboy.] We get it, and we're sorry, and we're leaving, right now.

You're all losers!!

[hanging off her as his eyes cross and uncross]

I've seen scarier things in my fridge! I've seen tougher looking stuff getting thrown by numemon!

The mob's still on edge, but she's at least got enough of an opening to get him out of there, before he makes it even worse. ...Like he's already done.

Out of the corner of her mouth:] If you don't stop you're going to get us both killed.

[he makes some muffled protests and it's probably better that Terra can't make out what words he's saying. He doesn't resist though and lets her drag him away, going effectively limp. The mob grumbles and lets them pass, muttering rude things about humans]

[And you know, she doesn't stop dragging him until they're somewhere she recognizes, near Roaming Park. Then she pulls her hand away and starts looking at his forehead.] What the hell were you thinking? Antagonizing them that much, and then-- you didn't have to do that. [She's touching his forehead; obvious what she means. But she doesn't sound angry, just worried.]

Oh sure! Cuz it's SO easy for the princess to blame me! Just like last time.

[his face is twitching though and his angry eyes are starting to look horrified, he's going to have a great big goose egg where the rock hit]

I told you, don't call me that, I hate it, I hate what I used to be, what I still-- [She's able to cut herself off; she's realized that yeah, this thing, it has her too. But what she focuses on is his face.

Her hand's still at is forehead, brushing at it gently.]

...Can you understand what's going on? [She says it. Slow. Careful. Trying to control what she's saying.]

Yeah I understand what's going on her! Some blond bimbo who loves to stomp on my heart is being all sweet again right before she breaks me again!!!

[and he may have a voice full of venom but that rock must have knocked something loose because he's shaking his head no and flailing his arms in panic]

[And she understands what's going on. And sees that he's becoming more and more lucid too, but yet she grabs his shoulders, both of them.]

Listen to me, okay, I'd rather be stuck as a stupid rock for another bunch of months than do anything like that again, ever, 'cause you're the most important person in the world to me, in any world, and I need to stop saying this stuff so just look, if you don't speak you can't keep saying this stuff, okay?

[his eyes get big and his face turns red. He opens his mouth to say something no doubt awful but suddenly wraps his fingers around his own throat to choke out the insult]

Ack!

[In response she pulls his hands away from his neck, that is the first way to cause harm dammit.

The only thing she knows to do is...take him back to his room and lock him in it. She's beyond any kind of idea besides that.]

She's got one more idea, and it's more like an impulse, from whatever's making her say all these things.

In a fit of desperation, her hand still holding his, she kisses him, even though she's pretty surprised by her own actions.]

Mmmmpf!?

[if his eyes were wide before they're dinner plates now. All that flexed tension in his angered muscles is frozen, quivering in place as his mind reels struggling to comprehend what is happening. Because this is amazing, this is wonderful this...is actually really awkward and nothing like he imagine having another kiss would feel like. And it's way different from their first kiss and all these thoughts are swirling in his brain like a tornado leaving him in beautiful, blissful stunned silence.]

[You know what she hadn't thought of? What to do after she kissed him. Except...keep kissing him? She doesn't know what to do with her hands. Keep holding his? She doesn't know what to do with anything. Her hair's starting to fall in her face, does she pull it out? Her teeth hurt a bit, did they hit his?

This wasn't how it looked in shows she watched, or movies, how long does she go for? Is she shaking? A little. She just wanted to stop him from talking, but no that's a lie there's more than that, but she didn't plan this out, she hadn't planned this out and just kisses harder.]
