[A pause and an audible swallow.]

I think I'm suffering a total mental break. I've been. Hallucinating for weeks, and my headaches have been getting worse and.

[Another pause.]

And now a seal is talking to me. I don't know where I am, but I need help.

[The feed turns off.]

[There's a brief moment where Will's D-Terminal starts recording when he replies, but he quickly switches the setting back. For that moment, his scruffy mid-30s self is on display, along with the top inch of Clarice's head.]

[And then the video cuts out and we're back to voice. He starts out mumbling, seemingly to himself.]

Should have just gone to the hospital when I started blacking out, there is no way this is work stress--

Look, I don't care what message I have on this thing, I need a doctor.

His head really hurts!

The seal's a monster and you're expected to function as a living battery to let it undergo puberty. In exchange, it will fight and protect you. Basic contract stuff, you should still have your soul, if you had one to begin with and it came with you here, which I am irritatingly unable to prove.
