[Friday Afternoon as the world settles back to normal there's a message on the network]

ATTENTION EVERYONE

To apologize for being the biggest lame jerk for the last two days, Beastboy is inviting you to have some free Veggie Rolls on him.

Come collect your handmade sushi in the area in front of the Newbie housing and feel free to throw a punch at Beastboy for whatever horrible things he said. He was not in his right mind but feels terrible about all of it.

Anyone who was personally insulted by Beastboy may also request some other meal to make up for it. Anything it takes to earn forgiveness! Feel free to place your orders via the network, he will come to you!

[And so anyone who shows up, or places an order can meet with Beastboy and have a free meal on him. For his guilt is heavy. So...so heavy.]

I can't tell you how often after that...and after everything, that I wish I'd said yes.

I dreamed about it, what it would be like.

[ now he looks flustered like he's expecting her to laugh]

...it's scary, and I'd have missed...well everything.

I know I did the right thing...but there was alot of times when I wished I hadn't. And that we'd just vanished into the night together.

[Out of instinct, she puts a hand on one of his on the cart, just...lays it there.]

Yeah...but I still think about it. You and me traveling the world. From city to city. I mean hey, when I can turn into animals that eat grass I can live about anywhere.

You know that woulda never worked, not really. Not with everything else back there.

That's what's fun about fantasy. You don't have to be logical about it.

[Gives her hand a squeeze]

Bet sleeping in caves woulda been alot more cozy with a big furry me as your bed.

[Jeez he needs to stop saying things like that.]

You watch too much TV. [But her tone's gentle, teasing.]

[Ah...now that is the question isn't it?]

...another Veggie Roll?

[Artful dodge!]

[Who else knows how to change the subject better than Beastboy? Still, Terra rolls her eyes and smiles, snatching up another veggie roll.]

Don't mind if I do.

[passes her a plate and munches on a couple more. He really does like her, and kissing is...totally awesome. Maybe they should give it another shot? But he doesn't want to rush things...anymore then he already had to because of the glitch.]

We could kiss again?

[GOSH HOW FORWARD. The response is starting to choke on the veggie roll she's started and thumping her chest lightly to get it out.]

[OHGODWHATHAVEIDONE?!?]

[steps closer raising a hand to whack her back if she needs it]

[Sh-she's fine!! She's fine!!!! She coughs a little bit more and makes a few gagging noises, and the veggie roll goes down. Looks like she'd started to tear up, she wipes her eyes.

Super attractive, wow.] --'m, g-good! [Choke.] I'm good.

[phew! He visibly relaxes with grateful sigh of held breath and face palming]

Sorry...I thought you'd laugh. Flirting fail.

We are...really bad at this.

[To think they were the same two from the other night...]

But...we are trying to flirt...right?

I-I, I guess so. I mean, I am-- you're trying to, right...?

Yeah! Totally! I would...I mean, if you wanna...kiss?

[She bites her lip, and she glances back and forth, and--

Well, she nods. Quite enthusiastically.]

[His face is so red steam might as well be shooting out his ears. But he grins awkwardly and takes her hand gently, much more timid when she's not initiating the kiss]

[To be honest, if she tries to kiss him now, she'd probably be just as timid, but she takes his lead and responds, brief and chaste this time, since she's so busy trying to keep her ears from lighting on fire.]

[When their lips connect his muscles tighten and his mind goes blank for a moment. They part for barely a second before he leans in and snags another kiss brushing his lips into hers with a gentle nuzzle of his head]

[She gasps lightly into his lips, and tentatively, slowly, she reaches up and tries to wrap her arms around him--

And forgets that there's a cart between them and almost falls down over it, losing the kiss and trying not to break into giggles.]
