( video )
[When the D-Terminal's video starts up the picture is of a familiar sight for many-- A Dark Zone. The video rests there for a minute, watching as the zone pulsed before the boy turned it back with a scowl.]
Masaru Daimon-- one of them-- decided to punch an Etemon straight into the Dark Zone. He's been missing for a while now. Some of you know what this thing does, but we need to get him out. I can't do this on my own so if you guys want to help out that'd be great.
...I heard from some passing Digimon the Koromon and Yokomon village have gone rabid and started heading for the sea. We're in Server now, but it won't be long before the start digivolving and making their way there.
You guys better start preparing.

[That composure isn't working well.] We just-- we made a pact, because it, it was the best...thing to do.

I am one hundred perfect positive you think and/or thought that, but it's not. Being a teenager, you tend to think you know better than everyone else — and teenagers are often a lot smarter than people give them credit for. You know what else, though? Intelligence doesn't mean maturity or sense of responsibility, or experience, so keeping it to yourself is putting countless other people in danger. All of us. By not telling anyone where it is, you're making yourself accountable for anyone who might stumble into it on accident. If you told people, the most responsible could maybe set up a barricade or some other method of keeping the dumbos out! But, no, misinformation is the best form of protection. Apparently.
[ God, she hates remembering how dumb she was as a teenager (and still can be). This is exactly the sort of shit that almost got an entire alternate Earth either dead or enslaved by personally throwing things off course. Because she knew better. Because she wanted to be the only one to do something with the information only she had. Because she was scared and irresponsible. So dumb. ]
[panic attack ahoy]
[As Misha talks, Cam is quiet...until the heavy breathing starts. The breathing that means he's got something stuck in his throat, like his nerves. A swallow or two, but it's choked. And when he starts talking? Well.]
I-- Now they've all-- and, I-- I d-don't, know more than everyone, I'm-- I pretty much know nothing, I'm terrified and I just wanted to stop people from making a-- but I-- I was scared and screwed up and it's my fault, okay? I- I know it, it is, I'm sorry, I-- I should've, just told everyone it's in the Underwater Cavern, I s-- I--
[The breathing gets heavier. It sounds like he's dropped the D-Terminal. A quiet Campbell? Campbell! and a stammered fine, 'm, fine, i'm, and it...cuts out.]
[ whoops. did i do that? ]
Underwater Cavern... All right. Shit.
