Greetings, Citizens of Terminal Tokyo! This is your local Trailmon Job Agency doing its monthly rounds! We've a lot of jobs to fill and more people than normal. Hope none o' you youngins were out here for a vacation! Man-- I remember the good old days of running free, yes ma'am. Now my gears are all rustin' and it's a hard to get on chuggin'-- but never you mind all that!

Since there's a lot of new folk around here I best get'ta explaining, yeah? Beginning of the month or so we post a bunch of jobs. We Trailmon spend a while setting 'em all up nice and organized for you lot.

All ya gotta do is sign up to do it. Remember there's limited spaces for each, so don't be riding the slow'mon about it!

[[OOC MECHANICS: This is how it will work (we'll be doing it similar to gargleblasted). Each number needed will be listed and it's first come first serve. Each character is allowed ONE (1) job, so please don't go signing up for more than that.

To get the job all you have to do is respond! SIGN UPS CAN BE FOUND HERE! Please respond with the CHARACTER JOURNAL of the character you wish to sign up with!

This is where all interactions will be taking place. There is a section for each job, and you will be allowed to set up further things as you like in terms of dates and times and who you will talk to.]]

[Oh, poor Donnie. What has him so flustered? She manages to turn an even brighter shade of red, but it's Kamemon who brings her back to reality.]

Huh? Oh...yeah. I--The last time that places were hiring, I applied here and I-I really liked it, so...

[She reaches up to tuck her hair behind her ears, but they just fall back in her face.]

Are you--Would you like to sit down? I could...I could ask for a break and bring you something? I'll pay?

Umm... W-well you can... if you want. I mean, I don't want to wanna make you have to stop working or whatever just to sit with me. I mean I'd like, that, but I- ow!

[Holds u his foot and stares at Kamemon, who gives him an annoyed look after having stomped on it]

[He whispers]Talk normal, idiot.

[Whispers] I'm trying! [Clears throat and turns back to Marley] What I'm trying to say is that yeah, but only if you want to. And don't you worry about paying, I can handle that.

[wall_flower]

[She bites down on her lower lip to keep from laughing at Donnie and Kamemon. It's cute, really, the way that they acted towards each other. She shakes her head, trying to fight back the burning in her cheeks.]

I haven't taken my lunch break yet, but I can as soon as I get you two seated and your orders taken. Come on.

[She smiles and skates off to an empty booth, making sure to grab a pair of menus and two sets of silverware along the way.]

Ummm... o-okay. Sounds good.

[He follows Marley to the booth, sitting down while trying to ignore the pink on his face. He found staring at his hands interesting for some reason...

Under breath] Idiot turtle.

[She sets the menus and silverware down on the table before pulling from her back pocket a pad and a pen.]

Just let me know when you guys find something you like. No rush, okay?

Right, ugh... let me see...

[Although he wouldn't say it out loud, this was Donnie's first time in a restaurant of any kind. He normally just ate what Fluttershy made or ordered pizza, and he couldn't exactly go out back in his world for obvious reasons. It felt weird...

He eventually placed an order for the cheapest thing there, and had to convince Kamemon to not blow his budget before he ordered.]

I guess that's it. I'm... pretty sure that I can pay for it.

[wall_flower]

[Marley writes down the order (and adds a few things to the ticket as well, purposefully out of Donnie's sight). There's no way she's NOT letting them enjoy a good meal. With a smile, she tears out the ticket and tucks away her pad and pen.]

I'll be right back then. Just going to give this to the cook and I'll bring us back some drinks.

[She waves and skates off to put in the order before skating back with three things of orange soda.]

Here we go! Drink up!

[Without thinking, she settles into the booth next to Donnie, sliding a glass first to him, then Kamemon, and finally pulls one to herself.]

Thanks. [He picked up his glass, his cheeks pink again. He looked at the girl from the corner of hsi eye, if nobody knew any better they could almost think that the two of them were...]

Y'know, ti's almost like your both on a date or something.

Wh-what? [The ink became red] Wh-why would you say that?!

Eh, just pointing it out. [Drinks soda]

[Okay, this is Marley getting choked on her drink. She coughs for a bit, her face turning bright red (IT'S THE COUGHING, SHE SWEARS).]

Wh-What? I...uh...This--It's not...

[Oh wow, that really is an orange soda in front of her. She finds this very interesting.]

[Looks at Marley when she coughs] Ignore him, he's having one of his brat moments. Are you okay? Did you drink too fast?

And worrying like that is exactly ehy people would get that impre... [His words fall short when Donnie sends a death glare] Umm... I'll shut up now.

[wall_flower]

I-I'm okay, just...yeah.

[Marley casts a sidelong glance at Donnie and offers a reassuring smile before taking a more CAREFUL drink...hopefully with less awkward interruptions from Kamemon.]

Um...thanks for letting me sit with you guys.

[brain_behind_purple]

Hey, it's no problem! It's... nice to have you here. [Kamemon opens his mouth] Say one word, and I won't buy you that new comic book.

[Kamemon sulks and crosses hsi arms, but keeps quiet.]

[Marley glances between Donnie and Kamemon, suddenly nervous. She's about to say something when one of the other workers brings up a plate of chips and artichoke dip, one of the things she added to the order. She smiles at the worker, thanking them quietly, and pushes the food towards Donnie and Kamemon.]

Here, try this. It's pretty good.

[Meanwhile, she'll just go back to her soda, watching the pair for reactions.]

I don't... remembered ordering this.

Who cares? Food! [Digs into it] This is awesome!

Yeah, well save some for the rest of us Kamemon, Honestly, your as bad as Mikey. But I still don't... [Looks at Marley] You added more things to the ticket, didn't you?

[wall_flower]

[Marley picks up a chip and puts some dip on it. She glances at Donnie, smiling ever so slightly.]

I'm on a lunch break...remember.

[And then she takes a bite of her chip.

In other words, yes. She added stuff to the ticket.]

Try some! It's good!

[Donnie would remember to tell her that she didn't need to dot hat later, for now he'd just go with it. He picked up a chip and dipped it. He tried it.]

Hmm... it's pretty good. Better than worms and algae by a long shot.

...Wait, you eat... Umm, eww!

I was a turtle living in a sewer remember? And this was before we discovered pizza and take-out!

...Your weird.

[That...is definitely not the most appealing thing to hear while eating, but Marley isn't about to say it. Donnie had a point. He was a turtle before.

Still, Marley is just going to slowly nibble at her chip while watching Kamemon and Donnie dig in.]

Umm... Sorry, that may not have been the best thing to say out-loud.

You think?

Yeah, yeah. [Just keeps eating the chips.]

[wall_flower]

It's okay.

[She offers a reassuring smile as she reaches for another chip to nibble on while waiting for the food.]

You mentioned take-out, though. What's your favorite thing to order?

Oh that's easy, pizza!

Yeah, he has it at least once a week.

Well ti was the first thing that I ever had other than worms and algae. It was the best thing that my brothers and I ever tasted!

I'm going to have to introduce you to some other kinds of take-out. There's all sorts of stuff that's just as good.

[Oh look, here comes their order! Donnie and Kamemon's food is set down first, followed by Marley's (a small salad). Last but not least are two ice cream sundaes, one for each of the boys. Marley thanks the worker who brought the food out, trying so hard not to smile before taking a bite of her salad.]

Again, who cares? Food! [Goes back to stuffing his mouth]

I mean it was really nice and I like it, but you didn't have to or anything.

[Okay, now Marley is smiling. No trying to hide it or anything.]

I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to. So don't worry about it. I've already splurged on myself, so now I'm splurging on people I like. [Woah are her cheeks pink.] My friends...

[Hello salad. You are looking mighty delicious today.]

[And now he was absolutely red-faced. He looked at the table.]

Oh, ugh... w-well... th-thanks...

[He tries to ignore his blushing by trying to eat. it wasn't helping much though.]

[Still rather pink in the face, she focuses on her salad, picking at the parts she likes more first before settling in for the rest of it.]
