[There were many things Arcee missed about being Cybertronian. Like, everything for starters. But it wasn't until Sprocket asked the harmless question of "What do you do for fun" that Arcee realized she really missed driving. A lot. She missed Jack asking her to go for rides, she missed going fast, she missed wheels. Heartbroken and longing for that feeling back, Sprocket did something incredibility intelligent for a change and suggested that maybe she could, I dunno, just go out and buy a motorcycle.
It was like life was suddenly different.
The months working for the Ice Cream Shoppe really paid off because Arcee had a lot of BITs to spare. Enough to snag her a nice bike, that's for sure. She even spoiled herself a little and made sure to get a helmet and outfit that matched her old holorider. Really, besides the paint job not being exactly how she used to be, this was the closest she'd ever get to feeling like herself again.
And she owned it. You might be able to catch her driving around the streets of Tokyo, and yes going the speed limit. If not, a very resourceful Sprocket manages to capture their ride around the city with the D-Terminal.]
Highway to the danger zone~♪
[Yeah, enjoy that. He's going to sing for you. Over a motorcycle engine. Simply beautiful.]

[Let's get back on topic here.]
We'll start easy. You see all those markings they paint on the street? They actually mean something. Ain't just for show, kid.

[Impmon has already slammed his forehead into his palm.]
no subject
[...oh scrap.]
You can't read, can you?
no subject
Not...well....
no subject
SIIIIIIGH.]
Okay, you're gonna need Dingus here to read for you, then, or else you're gonna turn into a road pancake. That's bad. Kinda like how standing in the middle of a road is bad. You wanna cross a street? Use the crosswalk. Those don't even have words so you can't say you couldn't read it. Got it?
no subject
Right...so where is the crosswalk?
[Is this suddenly educational television.]

[Arcee scans the area, and wouldn't you know it? Looks like they're pretty close to some lights.]
Up ahead. You'll find 'em near intersections usually. You wanna go take a look?
[Might as well while she's here, right?]
no subject
[He squints at the intersection before nodding.]
Yes, if you want.

[Arcee parks the bike at the curb before she gets off, leaving the helmet behind. It's the guard helmet. Surely no one will steal it like that.]
Come on, let's get this over with.
[She begins her little walk over to the intersection. Really, this is what she always wanted to do. Teach a large teenager about road safety in leather. What has her life become?]
no subject
[Amazing things, that's what. Leatherhead follows, walking up to the street intersection. Ok, what now.]

[See it? The beauty that is lines painted all over the place? Arcee motions her arm towards them like it's majestic as hell. Nature is amazing, including man-made nature.]
This is where you cross the street. Look, they even have a light for it. Green guy means walk, red means stop. And you never stop in the middle of the road, got it? You gotta keep moving.
...Even if traffic isn't an issue. Could be eventually. Might as well practice while you can.

Everything the sidewalk touches is our kingdom?]Mm...humans like putting rules on everything...
[Sigh.]
Very well, I will try to obey them.
no subject
[Oh humans.]
You'll be fine. Just do what I say and you're good to go.
no subject
[Leatherhead don't turn a simple traffic lesson into an existential thing.]
I shall, I shall.
no subject
Not all of 'em. ...Just a good chunk of them.
[At least they're not Cybertronian. They hurt each other and kill their planet.]
