[There were many things Arcee missed about being Cybertronian. Like, everything for starters. But it wasn't until Sprocket asked the harmless question of "What do you do for fun" that Arcee realized she really missed driving. A lot. She missed Jack asking her to go for rides, she missed going fast, she missed wheels. Heartbroken and longing for that feeling back, Sprocket did something incredibility intelligent for a change and suggested that maybe she could, I dunno, just go out and buy a motorcycle.
It was like life was suddenly different.
The months working for the Ice Cream Shoppe really paid off because Arcee had a lot of BITs to spare. Enough to snag her a nice bike, that's for sure. She even spoiled herself a little and made sure to get a helmet and outfit that matched her old holorider. Really, besides the paint job not being exactly how she used to be, this was the closest she'd ever get to feeling like herself again.
And she owned it. You might be able to catch her driving around the streets of Tokyo, and yes going the speed limit. If not, a very resourceful Sprocket manages to capture their ride around the city with the D-Terminal.]
Highway to the danger zone~♪
[Yeah, enjoy that. He's going to sing for you. Over a motorcycle engine. Simply beautiful.]

How am I supposed to eat this with THESE?!
[There's a flash of her claws as You sits next to him, peering into her carton. The man takes a peek over, seeing the dilemma and tilting his own carton slightly.]
I like the way you t-
[She was going to finish that sentence, but someone on a motorcycle can be heard approaching. Those floppy ears perk up slightly as she peers down the road, squinting. And to be fair? It has Wheeljack's attention too. Call it the mechanic's eye...or ear.]
...Arcee?
no subject
The bike slows down in front of the pair until she's eventually parked a little ways away from them.]
YOU!!
[Sprocket springs off the bike and runs over towards Wheeljack and his partner. Arcee, meanwhile, takes her time making sure everything's off and once that's settled, removes the helmet. Already she's starting to notice the major change of owning a bike compared to being the bike.]
Did you see it?! Did you see me?! I'm a certified road hog!
no subject
You BET I saw you! You were going wicked fast and we could hear you from like miles away well actually more like just that little bit of road you just came from but STILL you were riding like the wind how did you guys even get this???
[Wheeljack actuallly is setting his own carton down for the moment, getting up and heading over to Arcee, eyes locked on both her and the motorcycle. He had to admit, it was fine craftsmanship. ...The motorcycle. That.]
Runnin's not fast enough for ya anymore, huh.
[He flashes a small smirk.]
no subject
It's called spending AAAAAAALL the money!
[He stops, smile fading as he thinks about what he just said.]
Wait, that's not good...
[Arcee gives Wheeljack a smile as a greeting, placing the helmet down and making sure the kick stand is sturdy enough before hopping off herself. In the first time in forever, she actually seems pretty excited. Just the chance to talk about the bike is enough to make her beam.]
What can I say? Old habits die hard. Not exactly what I was looking for, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm lucky enough the thing came in blue.
...So, what do you think?
[Please validate her and tell her she's not crazy for doing this.]
no subject
At least you can look good doing it, now!
[It was nice, seeing Arcee so happy for once. Since he'd arrived she hadn't found much to smile about, aside from the usual facade of having this under control. Go on, Arcee, indulge yourself on talking about it.]
Point taken. Still, looks pretty impressive.
[He crouches down to look at it's inner workings a moment, giving an approved nod after some poking. Seemed to be functional, glad to at least know Arcee didn't buy a dud.]
Good condition. Built for speed...
[A soft chuckle.]
It's perfect for ya.

Leatherhead's been...more or less unemployed. So all he can do is pretty much wander around when he gets tired of rolling in the bathtub or just try to keep Impmon out of trouble.
But man...when Leatherhead spots that cycle from the corner of his eye, it reminds him of the cars back home. He never saw them that close before...
And Arcee's there! Oh um...should he do something? Oh he knows! Stand in the middle of the road, giving an awkward nod. And cue Impmon tuggging at the big guy.]
What are you nuts?! You're gonna be roadkill!
no subject
Arcee swerves to a stop, thankfully used to such turns back in her "Showing off for Jack" days. She quickly removes her helmet and looks like she's about to explode.
...That is until she notices it's Leatherhead and forces herself to calm down. With a sigh, she rubs the temple of her forehead and tries to figure out the best way to explain this to him. At least it was her that he wanted to say hi to and not some other random driver. She's not sure they'd understand how Leatherhead, erm, works.]
Okay, rule number one. We don't stand in the middle of the road.
no subject
But I thought roads were for traveling. I can dodge them just fine.
[Impmon groans, diving his head into his palms. God, how did he stay alive this long.]
no subject
Come on, I think we're gonna need to have a talk.
Ho oh~!
...Not that talk.

[Still, when he turned around to see the motorcycle itself speeding down the street towards him, he knew what it was. Some of the old human vids he'd seen had them. Not going to lie, now that he's seeing one in reality, he kind of wanted one.]

Jealous Garrus? No, really there isn't that much to be jealous about. Earth vehicles are a little outdated, aren't they? Still, it's nice to have one... Trips to the store are going to be so much faster now and--
Don't think she didn't notice him. Maybe because it's the first thing worth talking about she's ever owned, but it looks like she's ready to stop and chat with everyone about it.]
Don't remember these things always being so loud...
That's how you say hello?!
no subject
Maybe a little[They may be outdated, but there was a certain charm to it that he could get behind.]
Really? Every vid I've seen them in they've been as loud as cannon fire.
[As soon as she pulls up, Patamon jumps off Garrus' shoulder, excitedly looking over the bike.
Wow!
Still, nice ride. Set you back much?
[
This is in no way him gauging if he can get his hands on one.]no subject
[A smack to the head goes Sprocket's way.]
Probably gonna have to take a walk to the cafeteria for a free meal for awhile, but not anything I can't make back.
[Seeing as she's stopped, now might be a good time to take the helmet off. How do you people handle these things?!]
It ate away my toy fund.

[Choco listened, slightly lifting one of his giant ears with his paw.] Sounds like a motorcycle...
...A what?
no subject
[That's what Sprocket ends up blurting out as they zoom past the two, funny how he somehow managed to hear them from so far away. And over all that noise. He does have big ears, though. Maybe it's completely possible--
Who am I kidding, he's probably shouting that to everyone they pass and it's just a coincidence that it managed to be convenient.
What isn't convenient is that soon after, Sprocket manages to drop the D-Terminal. It falls onto the street with a clack in front of Fluttershy and her partner, causing the motorcycle to cut its drive short and park up the sidewalk curb not so far away.
Sprocket then hops off, running for it and smiling at the pair when he picks it up.]
It's a motorcycle.
[Yes, Sprocket, we've established that.]

Then back at Fluttershy.]
A cycle with a motor in it?
What's the hold up?
[Apparently tired of waiting for her partner to grab one simple thing, Arcee hopped off the bike herself to see what's going on herself. Seriously, tapirs. Can't do anything.]

[Okay, so it's not like Juri hasn't heard motorcycles before the Behemoth, nor after, but it's the one she most associates with the noise, and she likes Impmon/Beelzemon, she does, but the memory does sort of stop her in her tracks, as she's getting off work from the digi-elementary school.
Leomon's not with her today; he's been training, as she'd noticed before he was uncomfortable around the tiny Digimon. That's a bit of a good thing, as she wouldn't want him to see her small start. It all fades away, though, when she spies the little Tapirmon, singing and clinging to the back of the motorcycle.]
Oh... Sprocket...? ...Arcee?
no subject
The pair stop at the curb of the school, kickstand smacked into place.]
Working by yourself?
no subject
[For a young girl, she's well-practiced at bouncing back. Besides, with the helmet off, it's easy for Juri to shake off the silly worries.]
Mmhm. Leomon's not the teaching type. There are other girls there on shift, I'm not lonely.
Nice.
[She means the motorcycle. Not the song.]
Thanks, I was practicing all day!

He blinked and noticed a familiar figure on the back. Arcee. Perry can't help but whistle in appreciation. Now that is a ride. Perry could appreciate a good bike when he saw one. Bartholomew looked fairly impressed too.]
no subject
When they do stop in front of Perry and his partner, Sprocket can't help by beam with pride.]
HatTapirmon, look! Now I'm BikeTapirmon!
no subject
You certainly are. When did you pick this up?
