[ nothing fancy here. just the sun setting on the beach. yeah, there's some odd stuff here and there, but it doesn't obstruct the view much. ]

[ Sora gives an awkward little laugh. ]

I think it's just because my friends and I would all hang around the play island until after the sun set. Riku, Kairi, and I would get up on this tree and just kinda hang out. Seeing the sun set like this kinda reminds me of home.

Hmm. For a moment I was getting worried. You have never been this still or quiet for so long so I was wondering if you suddenly went catatonic on me. [ Ryudamon is teasing, what with that little smirk of his and all. Sora? he huffs. even his own partner picks on him. ]

Hey! I can totally sit still and appreciate things like this.

We should take a tally of all of the people that would be surprised to hear that.

Wow. Mean. [ though he says that, Sora sticks out his tongue. ]

Didn't you have something you meant to ask, besides just wasting our time here?

Oh yeah... [ there his attention goes - to talk to everyone else like he forgot they were there. ] So there's some caves around the lake area. Anyone wanna go with me and Ryudamon?

[ About twenty minutes later Squall is walking out onto the beach ]

[ well Sora isn't moving. just sitting on his random bit of a couch no, seriously, why is there only half of one? while being confused about what that had been about. ]

[ Squall quietly walks up behind him and puts a cold water bottle on his neck. ]

okay, no. maybe not. but Sora does give a surprised shout and falls over. ]

[ while Ryudamon does his best not to laugh, Sora sits up. rubbing his neck, he gives a little frown at Squall. yeah, sure... he's happy to see the guy actually sort of interacting with him. it's better than just ignoring Sora, you know.

[ he holds out the water bottle to him. he brought it for you Sora. ]

[ okay then. as Sora goes to sit down by Squall, he takes the water. what a nice gesture wrapped up in a mean prank. kinda reminds him of Riku a bit. ]

[ now he's going to prove he can be quiet. by drinking his water and looking at the sky. ]

[ Squall obviously stays silent as well as he drinks from his own water bottle. He's impressed Sora is being so quiet. ]

[ what's there to make noise about? the low roar from the ocean and the picturesque colors painting the sky is enough for him.

but man does he wish Riku and Kairi could be here to see it. other friends too, of course. but they'd appreciate this too. ]
