Mission 6: Rebirth and new hope (Backdated to middle of the night)

*Look who it is! Dante looks like he's just had a long day and there is blood on his shirt, but otherwise he looks remarkably good for a guy who's supposedly dead. A large, red amulet is hanging in front of his chest instead of being tucked under his shirt where it usually is (when he's wearing one) and he's running a hand through his hair with a sigh when the feed connects.*

Alright guys, you can ignore everything Coronamon said a while ago. Well, aside from all of it bein' one big accident. I ain't dead. In fact, I'm doin' pretty good for right after a fight with Verge. Just a little sore instead of hurting in places I wasn't sure could hurt.

And like I said, the whole thing was an accident. It was supposed to be nothin' but good fun and a chance for both of us to work out some irritations with the situation at large. We just both got a little carried away and forgot that a little stabbing between brothers would actually be a problem. That's right, both of us. So if you're plannin' on hurting the guy responsible, you're gonna have to take it out on me, too. And if you pick a fight with Verge, you got no sympathy from me when he kicks your ass.

*He lets his hand drop from his head with another sigh.*

Already said this to some of you, but thanks to everyone who helped calm Coronamon down. He's takin' a nap now.

Oh, and Maya? You owe me a new tub of ice cream!

Not if I don't want anyone goin' after you over this. And even if death apparently isn't really a thing here, I'd prefer my friends to stay in one piece.

*Vergil, it's Dante's turn to pinch the bridge of his nose like he's getting a headache.*

It kinda is, considering they thought you'd killed one of their friends. People tend to get pissed when you stab someone they care about.

Then it only proves how little they know and comprehend.

Most people here are mortal, Verge. They ain't used to the idea that someone can just walk off getting run through.

[ it's not that part that Vergil is referring to, Dante... just getting a look for being that thick. ]

And I ain't expecting anyone who doesn't have the kinda relationship we've got to really get what happened. Don't think normal sibling rivalry usually gets quite as bloody as ours does.

Verge, just accept that people ain't gonna get it and they're gonna be pissed.
