Mission 6: Rebirth and new hope (Backdated to middle of the night)

*Look who it is! Dante looks like he's just had a long day and there is blood on his shirt, but otherwise he looks remarkably good for a guy who's supposedly dead. A large, red amulet is hanging in front of his chest instead of being tucked under his shirt where it usually is (when he's wearing one) and he's running a hand through his hair with a sigh when the feed connects.*

Alright guys, you can ignore everything Coronamon said a while ago. Well, aside from all of it bein' one big accident. I ain't dead. In fact, I'm doin' pretty good for right after a fight with Verge. Just a little sore instead of hurting in places I wasn't sure could hurt.

And like I said, the whole thing was an accident. It was supposed to be nothin' but good fun and a chance for both of us to work out some irritations with the situation at large. We just both got a little carried away and forgot that a little stabbing between brothers would actually be a problem. That's right, both of us. So if you're plannin' on hurting the guy responsible, you're gonna have to take it out on me, too. And if you pick a fight with Verge, you got no sympathy from me when he kicks your ass.

*He lets his hand drop from his head with another sigh.*

Already said this to some of you, but thanks to everyone who helped calm Coronamon down. He's takin' a nap now.

Oh, and Maya? You owe me a new tub of ice cream!

[ Kotemon's masked face pops up on screen, glowing eyes seeming to convey an enormous amount of weariness and relief upon seeing Dante. ]

[ Roze's face fills the screen as Kotemon goes tumbling off to the side; her face is lined with red, not from tears, but being whacked in the face with a shinai several times. ]

[ The screen flickers in and out, chopping up most of the flurry of insults as she squeezes the D-Terminal so hard the video feed kicks out from button mashing in her rage. eventually she has to pause for a breath, huffing and glaring in relative silence as Kotemon groans off screen.

After a moment of wide green eyes darting left and right, taking in as much of Dante as they good from where they were, she finally inhales deeply, recenters herself and puffs a sigh that sends her bangs fluttering. ]
