Mission 6: Rebirth and new hope (Backdated to middle of the night)

*Look who it is! Dante looks like he's just had a long day and there is blood on his shirt, but otherwise he looks remarkably good for a guy who's supposedly dead. A large, red amulet is hanging in front of his chest instead of being tucked under his shirt where it usually is (when he's wearing one) and he's running a hand through his hair with a sigh when the feed connects.*

Alright guys, you can ignore everything Coronamon said a while ago. Well, aside from all of it bein' one big accident. I ain't dead. In fact, I'm doin' pretty good for right after a fight with Verge. Just a little sore instead of hurting in places I wasn't sure could hurt.

And like I said, the whole thing was an accident. It was supposed to be nothin' but good fun and a chance for both of us to work out some irritations with the situation at large. We just both got a little carried away and forgot that a little stabbing between brothers would actually be a problem. That's right, both of us. So if you're plannin' on hurting the guy responsible, you're gonna have to take it out on me, too. And if you pick a fight with Verge, you got no sympathy from me when he kicks your ass.

*He lets his hand drop from his head with another sigh.*

Already said this to some of you, but thanks to everyone who helped calm Coronamon down. He's takin' a nap now.

Oh, and Maya? You owe me a new tub of ice cream!

[ She huffs softly and looks off to the side, then back at the screen an leans in, holding a hand up and whispering at the screen. ]

He's not lying is he? He's really fine now?

Why not ask him yourself? I'm hardly his keeper nor am I in his vicinity.

[ She's quiet for a moment before sighing and arching a brow. ]

Nah, really likely. He talks about you a lot. I mean I'm totally second-string in comparison. Which is groovy. You're kind of a butthead and you make me a little angry. And maybe nervous...

But I'm glad you showed up.

If there's anyone he wanted here with him, its probably you. Maybe a couple others, but you're on his lips a lot more than anyone else.

[ he's still sure that the only reason Dante wants him around is because of a guilty conscience. to make himself feel better - or so Vergil is going to continue to believe for the time being. ]

[ a job, huh? been a while since he's had one of those. teaching would be promising if it didn't mean dealing with kids. Vergil is not good with them. at all. ever.

Oh come on. The scandalous behavior is relegated to after all the kids go to bed. You can at least drop by, have some free food. You don't have to drink and have a good time. its just encouraged. you know. Bein' a party and all.
