001- Backup Requested (audio)
[The voice that comes through the line belongs to an adult woman, and she sounds entirely serious.]
This is Commander Shepard hailing SSV Normandy.
[Pause.]
Come in, Normandy.
[Pause.]
Goddammit, Joker, where the hell are you?
[Pause.]
Wait. Where did--
[In the background, there is faint shouting.]
Shit, Monodramon, what did you do?!
[The feed clicks off.]

[Action]
A good distance away from where Shephard had stopped, Hiccup had been making his way with Gomamon lounging on his back, with his front flippers flopped over either shoulder. He hadn't known what else to do really, since after leaving the Terminal a lot of people had dispersed rather quickly. That left Hiccup quite alone- ...save for Gomamon, of course.
And so far, Gomamon wasn't turning out to be a huge wealth of knowledge. Sure he had the same idea that all the other Digimon did, and told Hiccup the same things, but he seemed more interested in telling the viking all about himself than giving him much more information. Hiccup didn't mind it too much, but it would be nice to have a little idea of what to do next.
So then he got the idea, maybe he could catch up with the crowd? If he could find someone else to talk to, maybe then he'd be able to get things a bit straighter and have a plan to work off of. So, with Gomamon still chatting away Hiccup suddenly picks up the pace to a run.
Gomamon is not at all hanging on though and isn't ready for the sudden jarring movement, and with a shocked "Woah, woah, WOAH!!" Gomamon goes tumbling right off Hiccup's back onto his own back on the pavement with a dull thump, stuck like a turtle with his flippers in the air.
And before Hiccup even had the chance to turn back around, there was another outcry and an even louder thud. Oh no.]
[Action]
[There is, however, some value in a digimon who watches where they're going, and Monodramon learns as he abruptly trips over something or someone small and furry. He makes a distinctly unmasculine noise as he falls on his face, and kicks at whatever it was that he just tripped over as he hurries to right himself.]
[Oh. It's a digimon.]
Get outta my way!
[Action]
[Gomamon yowls when Monodramon suddenly kicks him, adding insult to injury while he flails his flippers a bit, still unable to quite right himself for the moment. With a hiss he finally catches one of his fins against the pavement and manages to pull himself over, huffing loudly as he does.]
Why don't YOU watch where you're goin' ya big oaf!?
[Hiccup can see the Digimon bickering even from where he is, so with a gasp he turns and quickly backtracks, hoping that Gomamon will keep his mouth shut until he can get there.]

These devices don't seem to be capable of connecting to the networks we're familiar with.
[Audio]
It seems like it only communicates with local devices. Who am I speaking to?

That would be funnier if I could turn into a sheep.
I'm not sure that's true.
