[Donnie had had a very rough week. The first day of the dark incident, his partner was killed by Fearless, Hiccup's partner. He had spent the next few days hiding in his apartment, only going out on occasion. He also left today for work, but that was it. He wasn't willing to be seen right now, he just wasn't up for it.

Still, he did have people who did need to know that he was mostly okay. Plus he was planning on leaving soon, so he supposed that he should tell everyone. But he felt better using the audio feed.]

Umm... hi guys. Sorry to bother anyone, but I just want to tell my friends that... I'm going to be leaving in about a day or two. I need to Primary Village to fetch my Digiegg. I just wanted to let you know so that anyone who went looking for me wouldn't be worried.

[He almost said 'as if anyone would anyways', but he resisted.]

So ugh... I guess that's it. Thanks guys. I'll hopefully see you when I get back.

[It's quiet on Mikey's end for a few moments, only the sound of Leader calling Mikey's name softly registering. Finally Mikey spoke.]

You're not planning on going without me, are you?

[Donnie wanted to say 'no, of course not' but then he'd be lying.]

Mikey... I'm sorry, but I want you to stay here. I'm planning on going alone.

[There is the sound of a door slamming shut on the other side, Leader yelping, though she is clearly still with the d-terminal. A moment later there was a growl covering up sob, coming from Mikey, proving that the slammed door hadn't shut either of them away from the d-terminal or each other.]

Why?! Why don't you want me with you? I'm your family, aren't I?

[To say he sounded upset was a bit of an understatement.]

[Okay, he hadn't seen that outburst coming. If it were Raph,t hen it would have been, But with Mikey? No]

That's not it! Mikey I do want you to come. Believe me, I do. And of course your family, your my brother for crying out loud. But it's too dangerous. Who knows what is out there, Leader can't Digivolve yet, and... and I can't risk the chance of losing someone else.

[He wasn't sure if Mikey was listening, but he said it anyways]

[Normally Mikey isn't this moody, or easily worked up, but normally he was at home with all of his family and providing the distraction from all of the tension.

He is quiet as Donnie talks, a space of quiet after he is done even, rough breathing with small hiccups in them audible, Mikey trying to fight down the frustrated and upset tears that he couldn't stop.]

S-so instead I have to wait here? Not knowing if you are okay... Even if we can't defeat these digimon we can sure get around anything that tries to get in our way... You don't even have- [Kamemon, he almost said that, but cut it off, knowing it was the wrong thing to say.]

You can't risk losing someone else, but you want me to sit here and be okay not knowing how you are... out of reach if something happens and you could use a brother?

...M-Maybe we could...go together?

[She'd been dodging so many others offering to go with her...but this was different, and Donnie needed someone right now.]

Oh, Fluttershy, I... ugh... y-yeah, we can both go. I mean, if you want to go together and all...

[He had seen her saying that she was going earlier, but he had been too busy to reply. He didn't know what he would have said anyways.]

I-It...might be better that way, since we might be...passing through the forest...

[And she's been through there, so she knows how dangerous it can get.]

I-I mean...I probably can't do much to...to help, but...without our partners it'd be...better if we didn't...go alone...

Yeah, I guess your right. It would be dangerous if we went on our own.

And I'm sure that you'll be plenty of help Fluttershy, You always have been. I'll probably be even less helpful without Kamemon...

[Oh sure, Donnie was more than capable of defending himself, but he doubted that ninjutsu was gonna help against Digimon.]

Wow, everyone's having a really bad time with digimon right now. Huh?

[Clint's been hearing a lot about these going's on and is wondering how he managed to not lose Yoko-Uh-Biyomon.]

Yeah, the past week was... really rough, that's putting it simply.

Or having to deal with all those crazy Digimon.

Nothing, unfortunately. The whole ting was just a huge mess. That was probably exactly what Lotusmon wanted it to be.

So many people are going to that village it seems. Miwako is getting worried.

It's... not that bad Miwako. Once we get out egg, everything should be fine. There's no need to be worried.

[Leatherhead saw the fight, he saw it all. He and Duke tried to help, only for it to be naught. It was crushing, seeing his friends hurting each other...sometimes he wondered if people would always be like this.

The whole thing has left him speechless, unable to grasp words...until now. The alligator was staying with Duke in their bathroom/sleeping quarters, who for the most part had been pretty despondent if not a little sad.]

I could have done more for you, Donatello...if only.

[Sighs] No Leatherhead, there wasn't anything that anyone could have done. Fearless became what he did and did what he did because of me... no one could have prevented this mess.

I still do not like it...you did not deserve it. Your digimon did not deserve it.

No one who went through this deserved it. But it happened, and there's nothing that I can do about it. None of us can...

Ya know...I've never been to the egg village place. Is it just like...ridiculously easy to get there?

Because everyone seems to be pretty chill about just...going on their own. Leaving the city without any sort of Digi protection.

I think it's only a few hours away from here. And it's not like we have much of a choice Beastboy. If we don't, then we'll be even worst off if something else comes. Sometimes you have to risk getting hurt for something like thos.

Or you could...you know...not be dumb and take someone with you who has a Digimon so they can run interference for you if trouble shows up.
