[ Roze's screen flips on, her ecstatic face filling the screen because if she isn't close, the rush of snow would obscure her from view. ]

ITS SNOWING!

LADY ROZE! I INSIST YOU COME BACK INSIDE!

[ Never had anyone heard her shriek in such young and girlish excitement. ]

I'M FREEZING MY TITS OFF BUT ITS SNOW!

LADY ROZE!

Oh my god I'm so excited! I'M SO HAPPY! Yesterday was horrible. TODAY IS MAGICAL! I love the snow. Jesus fucking Christ this is actually really cold... [ She looks off to the side, squinting against the wind, cheeks already ruddy from the wind and ice whipping across pale skin. ]

Oh for goodness sake. LADY ROZE!

[ When she looks back at the terminal her lashes are crusted with snowflakes. ]

I'm gonna go get a cute coat and some tights! Oh, but...okay! I'm gonna hit the cafeteria and rustle up them Damemon!

Go outside and play if you love the snow. But I'm coming around door to door with delicious cold-weather treats.

About an hour and a half later, Roze started showing up to every apartment, one after the other, just like she said. A woman of her word, she'd gotten the Damemon to prep a simple and warm meal and treat.

Everyone got a tray laden with grilled cheese, tomato soup, cookies and peppermint stick hot cocoa. Everything was hot, steaming and fresh. Roze was wearing a thick, furry pink coat and black tights. She looked warm, and was, for whatever reason, absolutely tickled to be doing what she was doing.

Every apartment door was knocked upon and every person was served, who was interested.

She even managed to curse less, initially, pleased as she was by her endeavor. ]

Ye~s for you. And for everyone else. But for you, right now, especially. I went and rattled some cages in the cafeteria. I can be pretty convincing when I talk about how badly shitty weather can affect the Chosen an' all.

[ She grins, looking quite proud of herself, picking up two plates, one with the soup and sandwich, the other with the cocoa and cookies. ]

You...you can eat this right? [ She asked, cheeks coloring faintly in embarrassment. She still felt guilty about the incident with the sushi. ]

[Waver shook his head, sighing at the twinge of guilt that came with Roze's last remark.]

Y-yeah, I can. About that thing at the party...really, it's not your fault. I just had kind of a weird run-in with some sea creatures and I guess the smell kind of made me sick or something. It's stupid, I know. I'm sorry, so don't be so upset about it.

Oh! No no, its not stupid at all! [ She reassured him, shaking her head and balancing his plates. ]

Cake, babe, I had to clean up after a Kappa attack once. I won't go into detail, because I don't wanna ruin your appetite. Suffice to say that its very messy, smelly and gross. Like some straight up Cthulhu shit. So don't worry about it. I'm sorry I caused you trouble. It was never my intention. I just wanted to have a good time and I bought it special for my friends. You were one of them. But I shoulda gone for something more like...uh...ice-cream.

So no worries. I love you anyways. So, give us a kiss and call us even? [ She grinned, winking at him and holding the plates up. ]

...I'd rather just invite you inside and call us even that way. Waver did his best to look disapproving, though there was a slight edge of amusement to it.]

But since you're busy with this, I wouldn't want to interrupt.

I can come by later at some point. So, unless you need a hug and some extra warmth right this minute, I oughta get these snacks out. But...well, I'd liek to hang out sometime. Y'know. Invited by you instead of draggin' you somewhere... [ She laughed softly and smirked, shrugging one shoulder. ]

[Waver accepted it with a hesitant smile, seeming notably less miserable than he had since the blackout.]

Thanks. You can come by anytime you'd like to--just try to call and give me fair warning first.

Well, what fun would that be? Sooner or later I'll get to catch you with bed-head and sleepy eyes. All add a photo of that to my keepsakes!

[ She laughed, bearing all her teeth and holding her stomach as she did. ]

You can always come by my place too, Cake. For jokes, or just to hang around someone who tends not to be gloomy. And you don't have to give me any warning at all. You'd be a delightful surprise in any hour of any day.

Besides, if you warm me you'll only give me time to slip into something so mind-blowingly cute you won't be able to help yourself.

[ She pauses, looking up from where she was rearranging plates and frowns slightly. ]

It doesn't have a fuckin' thing to do with your age or maturity, Cake. Its not about me thinkin' you're a baby that needs an ass-pat and burp. Its about me bein' concerned about my friends.

But whatever.

[ She shrugs, waving a hand dismissively. ]

You'll take it however you want. [ She remarks in parting, grabbing the cart and pushing it down the hall. ]

[Oh. Well, that was another matter entirely. Waver looked around nervously before shouting after her:]

[And quickly ducking inside with a bright red face, shutting the door.]
