[Yu's Elecmon shows up on screen, looking about to cry]

I-i think Yu has replaced me! L-look!

[He turns the camera, waddling it into Yu's room. As he gets closer more and more sounds can be heard, all meows.

When Raidou opens the door Yu is laying on his bed, covered in lots and lots and lots and LOTS of cat digimon]

Someone come get them before Yu makes them his partners instead!

Why are cats falling from the sky?! Why is he keeping them in his room?!

I dunno why they're falling, but Yu said he used to have lots of cat friends back home!

[TWO-LEGS WHO KNEW CATS BACK HOME ARE CONFUSING.]

I can collect them, cats aren't supposed to be kept in these cramped dens. ...Though they might need a place from the rain...

[Yu notices the conversation finally, and walks over, cradling the Wanyamon]

Hello Hollyleaf... don't worry, they're just here until this weird storm passes. i'm guessing they got swept up in the wind or something.

Alright... Keep paying attention to your partner! The poor little guy looks neglected.

[Yu looks surprised and turns to Elecmon]

Ah...? Raidou, you don't think I like them more then you, do you?

[Elecmon sniffles]

[He kneels, petting Rai's head]

You know Elecmon is the cutest though, right? I would never think of replacing you...

[The little thing reminds her of a kit, even if he does have ears like a rabbit. Hollyleaf nods in approval. She'll let the boys work it out.]

[following such a shriek of rage, Minato is literally headbutted away from the D-Terminal by his partner who shoves her face in the camera.]

How...how dare he!? I'll beat the living daylights out of him!

W-whoa! No don't beat him up!

[But bad humans, just like bad Digimon, need to be punished!]

Fine, I won't...but only because it's you saying not to.

[It would just make him sadder. She swore to be his protector, so she can't make him sad.

In the background, there's a bit of a groan as Minato sits up.]

[Elecmon's ears are practically vibrating with nerves. oh my oh my so violent!!]

...is... your partner okay?

[Sloooooowly she turns her head to the left and suddenly it dawns on her what she did]

Oh no!

[She helps Minato up and turns away from both his gaze and the D-Terminal in shame.]

I hurt you! Oh Minato, I'm so sorry!

[She's sobbing hysterically now while Minato tries really, really hard to calm her down. It's to no avail as she wails.]

I'm a horrible partner! A..a...a bad Digimon! You should find a new partner. And you, Raidou, you deserve better. I'm not worthy to protect you!

Eurydice...Eurydice-chan...it's alright. I'm fine, really.

[Raidou seems shocked by her reaction and as he is want to do, at once assumes it's his fault and starts bawling as well.

Yu can't miss THAT and finally approaches]

[What a coincidence that they both ended up with insecure partners. It's just that they deal with it in different ways.]

Eurydice-chan gets like this every time she feels she's done something wrong. It upset Raidou-kun.

[Yu gathers Raidou up, hugging and patting the rabbit]

Sorry, this is all rather dramatic.

I feel like I should be apologizing as well.

[He has Eurydice in his lap, who has finally gone from wailing to quiet sobs and hiccups.]

She takes this "good digimon" thing very, very, seriously.

[He worries about how much she obsesses over it.]

Considering that they've been 'waiting' for us, it's... not surprising.

She means well, I've told her many times she doesn't have to prove anything to me, but she won't listen.

[Oh hey, there's another Elecmon on the other end. Guren sighs and shakes his head.]

[He tilts the d-terminal just enough to see behind his shoulder where Saori's sitting on her bed with several cat digimon she picked up. She's too engrossed in snuggling them to respond.]

I'm sure it's just a phase or something. We're they're partners and we can't be replaced that easily.

Maybe it's because I'm not fluffy enough...

What? Don't be silly. We're pretty...fluffy enough compared to them. Just don't, uh, tell my partner I said that out loud.

[He turns his head to make sure she didn't hear that to be safe. Yep, she's still preoccupied. ]

Your partner isn't going to replace you. I never heard of any chosen child do that before.

[He scratches his chin for a second as he thinks but shrugs.]

Never mind that though. Why do you think he wants you replaced? That doesn't sound like something our partners would do.

[Even though he plays with Elecmon like that all the time. His memory is weak when it comes to his feels]

Oh, don't say that. You're stronger than you think you are. And Yu appreciates you for who you are, not how strong you are.

That's what he said too, but....

I'm sure he means it. I think he's just being very nice to Gatomon, the way he's nice to a lot of other people. Especially since the poor Digimon must be so confused falling from the sky like that.

But you're still his partner, and I'm certain he would never want to replace you.

[She nods.] Oh yes. I'm positive that you're special to him, in a way that no other Digimon could ever be. So you have nothing to worry about.
