I'm sorry to hear your friend went back. It's been happening a lot lately. Don't get disheartened by this. I'm sure she wouldn't want you to be sad forever.
[Yang looks like she might have just gotten up. Porridge is still snoring in the background and Honey is not on screen though is presumably somewhere in her room. She brushes her hair out of her face and pouts slightly when Blake's message sinks in.]
[Yang is dressed, cleaned, and out of the hospital/resident area in less than a minute. The girl had perfected quick ready times when she needed to be on the move fast. She arrives at the cafe another minute or two later since it IS just right there. This certainly is a much smaller area to deal with than the previous city she'd been living in.
Yang looks around and spots Blake easily enough, making a beeline for her. She wants to keep her typical bubbly attitude so instead of immediately jumping to 'Where's Ruby' or 'Is this about Ruby' Yang says]
[Sitting at a table in the cafe, Blake stands as soon as she sees Yang enter, and she crosses the distance to meet her as she comes over.]
Hey Yang. [She can tell the girl is trying to remain positive, but it's only a matter of time. However, she can at least keep from jumping right into it, at least not until Yang chose to be ready.] How are you?

So... she went back home, then.

I just. [Soft sigh.] Feel bad for her sister.

I-It...usually means that they've been sent home...

That would explain why neither of us noticed Yang leaving, though she said she'd been here for about a month...

[It's a cat. An actual cat, with a few scars down her face.]
It means they're gone, back to their home. Sometimes they return, after awhile. My old roommate just did, but...years passed for him.
I've heard by now that it meant they went home... This is the first I've heard of them coming back.
not that she knowsHollyleaf nods.]
It doesn't happen as often. But it is possible. From what I've been able to keep track of, they usually are missing for a few days.
Does that still apply if their names are missing from the register? If you've noticed that.

[He sighs. The same thing happened to his roommate, and it seems to be occurring a lot these days.]
You'd think they'd at least give us a memo first. Some kind of heads up so we know what to expect.

That would be nice.

[They're the first two thoughts that pop into his mind, anyway. Why else would she ask? Morbid curiosity seems kinda doubtful.]
