Sheesh, what a mess this place is turning out to be. I guess that's what happens when a bunch of middle schoolers end up as our seniors. That's a Japanese term for a mentor-like role in case you're not catching on, alright?
[ Sure, everyone else is concerned about the battle and dramatics going on, but Rin Tousaka? She's up for complaining about the circumstances much later than the rest. Wearing her golden hair up in childish twintails, she's certainly one to talk about middle schoolers. In fact, she doesn't look to be much older than most of the other teenagers here. ]
Haa, at least I have this apartment all to myself now. I guess that really sucks for their partners though. Who knows how long they've waited to reunite with them and now they're all gone. I wonder what happens to those guys whenever their human counterparts leave?
Speaking of, do you think there's a way we can trade? I've got this wussy partner and that's not really good for someone with a strong personality like myself. Well come on, I'm not the only person who's still around am I? I know this place is just full of cowards who can't hold their own so humor me with an answer won't you?

[ Won't the digimon's feelings get hurt? The digimon might think that the problem was him/her. ]
Won't the digimon feel ... lonely?

[ Come on, she has a super cute and shy Digimon. Who doesn't want that? ]
In fact, you should be thanking me for being so considerate to offer my partner this kind of opportunity. Don't tell me you're selfishly keeping your own without wondering if they like you or not?

Well, She is cute ... but I am good friends and I like Lucemon already. But I hope you find someone else then if that's really what you want.
[ Smiles. ] I hope you find someone then!

[ They haven't been here all that long, have they? Rin leers towards the screen briefly before leaning back once more. ]
Lucemon must be an impressive Digimon to make that kind of impression so quickly.

[ Though ... he might like her a little too much at times. It is a good thing she doesn't know he was plotting Wally's demise. ]
We're compatible I guess? I can't really say why I like him. Maybe it does help a little that he is pretty cute.

[ Without wasting another second, the device is whipped around quick enough to show a blur and then suddenly purple. The shy Digimon is quick to scurry out of sight as Rin laughs. ]
Now that? That's cute.

Cute isn't functional. What is she going to do, make my foes pass out anytime she bats her eyelashes?

[ ... ] Not with an axe or anything. That's scary.
[ Scarier than the giant assault rifle she often carries. ]
no subject
Scary. Yes. ]
Are you very good at it?
... hacking I mean.
no subject
[ Hmph. ] So much so that I guess it gets me into trouble.
