Excuse me.

[It's Kyouko on the D-Terminal this time, and she's sitting on the foot of her bed in her apartment. Labramon is curled up snoozing next to her, nose pressed against against her hip. Kyouko seems to be ignoring her for now]

We've been here a few days now, but I still feel like there's much to learn about this world and its inhabitants, regardless of what Labramon and Izumi-kun have told me. In an effort to gather as much information as possible, I have a request, for all of you.

Could you tell me what your digimon partner's name is? And to all of those partners, could you tell me a little bit about yourselves? What is your species like? Where did you live before coming to the city? Do. . . you require some sort of special diet?

[a beat]

I'd like to learn as much as I can about you, so I'd appreciate swift, accurate responses.

The desire for the truth, of course. Adjusting to this world will be easier if we try to learn as much about it as we can, right?

You seem a clever woman. Yes, it probably would be. [She's not entirely sure, this has always been her home. The act of trying to adjust to it seems strange]

Hm... not all members of my species are nearly as refined as I. If you have more answers, please feel free to ask.

Do you have any special abilities unique to your species, Gaomon?

We are quite fast. Our attacks are Rolling Upper, Double Backhand, Gao Rush, Wild Echo, Wild Bark, and Wild Howling. Most of our attacks involve either using sound or our fists to damage enemies.

Of course, once I digivolve I will have more potent skills. But as I am now, I'm still a good fighter.

May I ask who your partner is?

[Tilts the camera towards the sleeping digimon beside her]

She calls herself Labramon. She's rather. . . energetic.

Are you two getting along well? Or are you still trying to adjust to each other?

Yes, that is true. I suppose I was very lucky, being partnered to Henry.

Has he been a good partner so far?

He's a bit strange. But yes, he has been. He took to me right away.

Strange? In what ways is he strange?

[now we've moved on from digimon info-collecting to partner info-collecting]

He's oddly enamored with blood. I was lead to believe most humans weren't fascinated by it.

You're right, most of us aren't. A few people even find it repulsive.

[She says this evenly, not showing the slightest sign of being bothered by this strange revelation]

[It doesn't bother Gaomon much. Her partner is a fighter, just like her. Even though it's a different kind of fighting.]

Is he a vampire?

[asked totally calmly]

[There's a pause as she considers it...]

He does seem rather pale. But he has no problems walking in the sunlight. He didn't express a desire to drink blood either.

[She frowns, something about that statement doesn't sound right.]
