Guilmon's Totally Prodigious Digistuff 004 [Video]

[Except not today, as the screen pops up to show Ed's usual aderpable self.]

Hey guys! Sorry about everything, but I've been kind of busy between work and more work and after that I kinda did some work... anyways it's been busy. I'd have changed the title, but it's already set up to say that in series and I don't really know how to change it to something else. [Or more like he didn't want to go through the tiny boxes and settings changes involved.]

But yeah, I just wanted to say hi and stuff. I decided to take the next couple of days off, so if you guys want to hang out... well I just thought I'd put that out there.

Anyways, I figured it'd be a good thing to get that out there since I've been spending all of my time being so busy lately.

[Guilmon pops its head into the frame] Hey, Ed... whatcha' doing? Can I help?

Oh, I'm just practicing for a speech I have to give later... recording it so I can watch how I look when I talk. Don't worry about it. [Wait since when does Ed lie?]

Okay... It didn't sound like a speech though...

Don't worry about it, Guilmon. I'm sure you were just confused.

[Shepard isn't bothered by the lie, and it's a few hours before her own event issues strike, so she just gives a little half wave in greeting.]

Hey Ed. You up for training sometime over the next few days? Ribs're better.

Training..?

[He waves back. Training, huh? Well, but that sounds like effort.]

I dunno. I've been feeling a little bit under the weather after work lately, so...

You getting sick, kid?

[It's a concern!]

No, I just have a really rare condition. I uh... I used magic to keep it from being a problem, but without it...

[Ed pushes Guilmon off the screen again.] 'course I do! You should know that..!

[Symptoms..! He hadn't thought of that. Oh well, make something plausible up!]

Running too much makes my legs seize up and then my heart starts to feel sore, and if I keep going after that I start throwing up. Not to mention that any kind of stress makes me break out in a hideous rash and get the chills. It's seriously scary.

[She raises an eyebrow.]

Are you telling me you're allergic to exercise?

Yes. That is what I am saying. It's very sad, why I only ever practice magic.

[Hiccup watches Ed for a moment in stiff silence, regarding him with what looks unmistakably like a sneer. Gomamon can be seen sitting in his lap, looking a smidge uncomfortable, even though his fins are practically wrapped around the viking's legs. To anyone who knows the Digimon well, they'd find that clingyness....slightly offputting.

Meanwhile, Hiccup just snorts, folding his arms stiffly over his chest.]

Hang out? Who would want to hang out with you?

Maybe because I'm awesome? Or because I've found a totally cool new secret spot that I'm definitely not going to share with people who won't hang out with me. [Nyah nyah.]

...you guys are both acting really weird...

[Gomamon shifts, tightening his clingy hold around Hiccup's legs with a muffled sigh.]

[Hiccup raises a brow, scoffing.]

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. Maybe one day that'll actually be the truth, Edweird.

Wow... you know, that really stings. Are you saying I'm not awesome?

I mean, back home I'm only kind of the king of everyone and everything. People live or die based solely on my whims, and I can get all the free stuff I want. Awesome, huh? Being an all-powerful mage has some killer perks.

Gomamon drops his head on Hiccup's knees and gives the camera a mournful look, watching Guilmon sagely.]

Oh... is that why you're holding on to him so tightly? [Guilmon is starting to get the feeling that she's the only one around here in her right mind.]

Hah. Clearly you just don't know what awesome looks like. If it was back home, you could come at me with your dragon, and you wouldn't be able to do a single thing to me.

Also THAT is enough to prick at Hiccup's nerves, causing him to draw the Terminal a bit closer to his face.]

Toothless and I could destroy you if we wanted to. You think you've seen power with all these ridiculous monsters? You don't know WHAT true power is.

...Nevermind. I'll just... go have a burger, geko...

[The only sane man, Guilmon, goes out to grab a burger right quick.]

Your dragon's name is Toothless. That says all that needs to be said about how strong it is, and you really don't need to tell me what true power is. Ungodly magical might, remember?
