Hey! Hey guys! Something amazing has happened! Watch!

[he carries the camera to Jinx's room and opens the door. Jinx is on her bed face down in her pillow]

Hey Jinx? Why you hiding out?

[she groans] because since lunch I haven't been able to stop being incredibly honest and open and answer anything I'm asked and it's killing me! I already told you!

And what do you really think about my narration?

[growl] that you have talent but lack focus and need to practice writing every day to nurture your gift.

HA! I knew it! Now! Why were you so excited when you made a sand which by yourself the first night you were here?

[she throws the pillow at him]

BECAUSE I CAN'T COOK!

[feed cuts out when the pillow lands a hit]

Seems like you're having some trouble.

That's an understatement.

[With the camera on it can be seen Jinx is outside walking, Noir must have the camera because it's hovering above her]

People are not always honest for a REASON! Why is this happening to me!?

Err ... it might be one of those 'glitches' again that people keep having lately.

It is worrying me a bit honestly.

Glitches?

They've been happening pretty much everywhere in the city.

A lot of people have been acting really weird for example.

Does this sort of madness happen often?

I'm not sure. It's been crazy since my first day, but nothing this weird I guess.

Well that's a relief I suppose.

But if I don't get turned back soon I might have to start taping my mouth shut.

But I'm not saying that nothing weirder is going to happen soon you know.

But what's wrong with telling the truth?

People should be able to lie. To themselves and others.

Cone on, you were an idol, can you really tell me you don't understand the importance of not being entirely truthful?

[ Her image was built on lies and image after all. ]

And that's ok! Because those lies make people happy.

And so long as you're happy too where's the harm?

I guess sometimes I wonder if it does make me happy ...

When did you become disenchanted with the lifestyle?

Don't get me wrong ... I did --- I do still love that life. I enjoyed making my fans happy. And I love knowing that they support me so much.

I just ... I'm just not sure if they are supporting me anymore ... or the me that is someone else.

Now that...is an interesting question.

Because how much of this other girl is really you?

[ Rise laughs and then gives a nod. ]

[ It sounds almost like she was jealous of herself. ]

Not at all, in fact when I went on my first mission as a graduate I pretended to be someone I wasn't as well. Extra creepy, not fully stable. Very intimidating.

...damn truth telling glitch.

I think you sort of mentioned that before ... you were a villain back in your home, weren't you? Is that what you are talking about?

[Heavy sigh, teeth clenched because she's trying to hold back]

Yes. I was a Super Villain. I studied at an academy for young gifted villains who were trying to become better and I graduated top of my class. One of our lessons was about creating a persona. A personality to portray to the public and your enemies. I chose to act like a mysterious, slightly unstable witch girl. Big eyes and big smiles.

[Her eyes widen and glaze over like she's staring into space and she takes on a haunting Cheshire cat smile]

[ If she didn't know that was a persona, Rise would have been a little creeped out. ]

I guess for some people you really need to play some kind of role.

[The smile fades]

Well I thought it didn't work after we...failed. So I stopped acting like that. But most the jobs we pulled after that didn't go any better.
