There's something I'm trying to figure out.

[A slightly bruised but quickly recovering Waver could be found on the network today. His right hand was raised to his head thoughtfully, displaying the mostly faded remnants of red markings that were once burned into the back of it.]

Could there really be something that passes for magecraft in this world? Not that I'm complaining, considering Palmon's second form is perfect for me, but I'm just wondering about the implications.

If there's a species of Digimon clearly classified as some sort of magus, just what qualifies as the 'magic' they're using? Some lines of code or circuitry? And if that's the case, could it be something people like us could work on utilizing?

...then again, maybe there's not much point in me considering this. [Waver sighed, shaking his head.] I don't know much about computers or programming, so I guess even if it was possible, I wouldn't be the one to figure it out.

[Someone really misses his magecraft, apparently.]

[Though well... if this guy used to have magic she doubted he'd be able to get it back.]

But I think it's probably going to be part of whatever Digimon is using it.

I hadn't really thought about that. So you're saying it's probably something in whatever information makes up their structure and ability?

Well, that would make the most sense. I mean, magic doesn't exist on my world, but Wizardmon and other digimon like that were still there.

As for how I ended up here... umm... one second I was back in my world and in the next I was here.

So exactly the same way as you did, I think.

So they're bringing people from worlds that both do and don't already have these guys there? Why not just stick to people who probably know what they're dealing with?

I dunno.

I mean, my brother's here and there's a few others from worlds with Digimon, but well... maybe they just need a lot of people. Back home there wasn't a lot of people who could help out with what we're doing here.

Maybe it'd be better to bring in people in larger numbers, then. Even if they don't have any idea what a Digimon is.

But maybe whoever actually brings us in here... can't bring in more than how many are coming in now?

Well, that's the only thing that really makes sense.

... But I guess it's going to be kinda hard to know for sure, isn't it? I don't think anyone here knows how people being brought here works.

Kinda, yeah!

He's kinda more a friend of my brother since they're the same age, but he's still really nice to me too. And he's really awesome and stuff and he's already a doctor!

So yeah, it's really really impressive.

[From what she heard, Touma studied really hard to be able to get licensed. But well... umm... now that Chika thought about it more, she had no idea where he found the TIME to do that.]
