Ahaha... yeah! I guess it really is. [She's still figuring out how some of this technology works, but at least Palmon's there to help.]

Anyways, hi, everyone! My name's Meruru, or I guess it's technically Merurulince Rede Arls... but it's such a mouthful, and everyone calls me Meruru! I'm the princess of Arls back home, but I'm also an adventurer and alchemist; it's my goal to make Arls a better place to live.

[Ah, whoops, she started to ramble a bit there. Meruru lets out a tiny nervous laugh, but grins again.]

I guess what I'm really trying to say is... it's nice to meet everyone! I hope I can make a lot of friends here. [She's used to making friends with everyone back home, after all, so why not here as well?]

Oh! I see now. Back home, we just have the knights, and I guess technically, there's an Adventurer's Guild in Arland, as well.

We don't have knights where I'm from. At least, not anymore. That's ancient history.

Wow... ancient history? We might be becoming a republic soon, but I don't think the knights would end up out of a job.

I think it's just how things progressed over time. We have different military structure now.
