I ask because I've got a big ol' project for anyone out there with experience in programming, handling large and delicate amounts of data, physically building computers or anything in relation to that. I've got a friend that should have come here with me, but he didn't since everything electronic goes kaput when we arrive. A thousand bits says he's still where he should be, I just have no idea how to get him functioning.

So, like I said, anyone who wants something to do—well, or wants to get paid, because I will definitely pay you whatever is within my power to do so for the help, or otherwise exchange valuable commodities (such as self-defense)—reply here. Thanks.

I know what you mean. Still... nothing ventured, nothing gained. At the absolute worst, there's a backup that's a week old from when I got here at home, but... you know, I don't think a risk is worth scrapping an entire plan over.
