[The video switches on, and Mami takes a moment to adjust the feed so that it's centered before she gives the camera a polite smile. If you hadn't run into her when she first arrived, you'd never know she had been having something of an emotional breakdown just a few days ago- rather, Mami is (at least appearances-wise) calm and poised... though if anyone pays close enough attention, her smile might be a tiny bit forced. With her is a Salamon, who seems to be happy that her Chosen partner is adjusting so well!

Hello! I arrived a few days ago, but I'm only just now introducing myself; I'll admit to having been somewhat distracted getting settled in. My name is Mami Tomoe, a third year middle school student from Mitakihara- I hope that I can become properly acquainted with at least some of you.

Miss Mami is really nice and friendly! Though... she's kind of lonely.

-- Ah, Salamon, that's enough. In any case, I'd like to know if there might be somewhere I could purchase tea...? ... And somewhere to brew it, perhaps, as well- I've realized the apartments have no individual kitchens of their own, which is something of a shame, I'll admit; I enjoy baking!

So Mami right? What kind of world did you come from? I'm a superhero back home, shapeshifter supreme and all around awesome guy.

[Rita just rolls her eyes and smirks with good nature.]

A superhero, you say? I guess you could say I was a superhero of sorts as well, though I can't say I was a shapeshifter like you! [A small laugh. She doesn't plan to go into details, of course- she's good at wording her way around things.]

Aw there are all kinds of super heroes so no worries there. Sides I can't even change forms in this world. I gotta leave all that up to Rita here.

I am getting better at it at least.

So what kind of hero were you?

Hm... I was a defender of justice, really, except I didn't fight criminals. Still, I saved people who were in despair, and fought the 'evil' that caused them to be that way.

Huh...yeah that sounds like a hero to me. What sorta "evil" causes despair? Bullies? Homework? Diet soda?

Not exactly, though I suppose those could be contributing figures!

Hmm...not sure I understand.
