[The video switches on, and Mami takes a moment to adjust the feed so that it's centered before she gives the camera a polite smile. If you hadn't run into her when she first arrived, you'd never know she had been having something of an emotional breakdown just a few days ago- rather, Mami is (at least appearances-wise) calm and poised... though if anyone pays close enough attention, her smile might be a tiny bit forced. With her is a Salamon, who seems to be happy that her Chosen partner is adjusting so well!
Oh, if only she knew.]
Hello! I arrived a few days ago, but I'm only just now introducing myself; I'll admit to having been somewhat distracted getting settled in. My name is Mami Tomoe, a third year middle school student from Mitakihara- I hope that I can become properly acquainted with at least some of you.
Miss Mami is really nice and friendly! Though... she's kind of lonely.
-- Ah, Salamon, that's enough. In any case, I'd like to know if there might be somewhere I could purchase tea...? ... And somewhere to brew it, perhaps, as well- I've realized the apartments have no individual kitchens of their own, which is something of a shame, I'll admit; I enjoy baking!

Got an electric kettle if you got an outlet.
video;
I do, actually! It's in my room, though I'll admit I found it a bit amusing, as it seems the devices we were given never need charging.
video;
I can drop it off once you have tea to brew in it. There's shops around here, but be careful- the digimon have weird tastes in food sometimes.

The Hinata Teahouse is near the park if you know where that is?
We could just show her! Then I can get more of those little cakes~

Unfortunately, I don't know where the park is, so if you could show me, it would be very appreciated.

[Kaldur had adjusted to such living before though, living in the mountain base back home. Plus, he knew how quickly food could disappear with Wally and it was even worse with Digimon. They were like Wally times 10.]
My name is Kaldur'ahm and this is my parter, Gizamon.
Yo. I go by Sedna.
Tea can be purchased at the General Store for sure, although there is perhaps a shop that specializes in it around. I have not looked.

[Okay, she purposely makes too much most of the time- she likes having company over.]
It's nice to meet both of you! And that's alright, I'm sure someone else knows; if not, well, Salamon and I can go searching.

[Or perhaps she had a friend that ate a lot...though that wouldn't allow for a lot of extras. They hardly ever had leftovers back home for that very reason. Wally never left much behind in the ways of food.]
Do you take requests?
Sedna.
What? If she bakes a lot I want in on this!

[He pats at the digimon by his side.]
The name's William Flemming and this is my partner, Kokuwamon.
[The digimon waves one pronged hand shyly, but doesn't speak.]
[video;]
[She smiles reassuringly at Kokuwamon when he doesn't speak, before turning her attention back to William.]
It's nice to meet you, Flemming-san -ah... I'm not too terribly sure as to the naming order around here.
[video;]
He smiles.]
Flemming's fine. It's my surname, but it was what most people refer to me as anyway.

So you're a new arrival too, huh?

[It's possible Mami's seen the young woman with cat ears and a tail around, since they're in the same apartment. Hopefully the scarred face isn't too off-putting.]
Baking. I've heard so many talk about baking, what is baking.
[Video]
Hm? Baking is a method of cooking, usually involving an oven these days- though some might prefer to use the old-fashioned method of using hot stones or ashes. Commonly, it's used to bake bread, but it's also used to make cakes, cookies, pies... well- a lot of things, really!
