[Some time later, Gazimon is going to approach on its own. (Alex is coming, but Gazimon's a fast little asshole.)]

Okay, where's the little guy who wants a beating?

[Elecmon sees his new sparring foe and slinks forward, trying hard to be brave.]

M-me...

Be careful, Elecmon.

[Right as Yu finishes his warning, Gazimon will fire off a Paralyze Breath at Elecmon.]

[Elecmon yelps, dodging to the side. He's not fast enough to dodge completely, and the breath attack hits his side, making him stumble... and gasp in surprise as his paw feels tingling and numb

This is bad. But the slight pain seems to switch something in the red digimon- he growls, pupils shrinking down to pinpoints and tails sparking with electricity, which he tosses back at Gazimon as a Sparkling Thunder]

[So, to take a moment to talk about Gazimon, Gazimon grew up out of the city, and spend its entire life before Alex's arrival fighting and trying to get strong enough to evolve even without a partner. That failed utterly, of course, but Gazimon did learn a few things. And after that, she began to talk with Alex a lot, and discussed tactics and battle plans. One thing they had discussed was, if an opponent was equal, the key to victory could lie in demoralizing them, so they don't use the best of their abilities.

To that end, Gazimon didn't even dodge the attack. She simply braced herself against the ground, crossed her arms, and let the thunder slam into her. It hurt like a bitch, but the point was to make sure her opponent didn't know that. She smirks, showing her fangs, as smoke rises from her arms from that blast.]

Is that all you've got? What a pathetic attack, you barely singed my fur.

[Most partners would be scared by Gazimon's ballsiness, but Elecmon just charges- maybe she taunted him into carelessness, maybe he was already at that point. Either way he doesn't bother with any planning or tactics or even care. Just launching himself for a tackle]
