Hello! With everyone coming and going, a lot of you might not know me, but I'm Hikari Yagami, one of the earlier Chosen Children. With my brother and the others out looking for clues... [And leaving her behind.] I'm sort of...a home-base, he called it.

He told me since some of you are restless here, you can help Koushirou-san. He's trying to get data for a device to shut down the Dark Fields, but he's also trying to research that virus we heard about, so he can't get it himself... That's why my brother told me to use that mission board the Trailmon set up! We need at least four people each to go to the four Dark Fields and get data from them.

You don't need to go inside, don't worry! Just have someone get close enough to stick a data-gatherer in and the others keep any wild Digimon distracted.

[A very tiny pause.]

Gatomon and I can help, if anyone needs it. Just don't tell Taichi.

[ooc: What Hikari's referring to are these missions here for the last week of August, recently put up. This will be important for September's plot.]

Mmhm! I'm going back now to keep watch on the baby Digimon. I'm just the closest with...the least to do, so it's easiest to send me.

[Conversely, Hikari doesn't recognize BlackWargreymon, but she knows Koushirou's talked about him being an ally.]

A Mega level would be a lot of help with any Digimon that might attack! You are a Mega, right? You look like Wargreymon, after all, but I can never know for sure.

Be careful. Don't go alone if you can help it. We have no idea if the viral infection persists after death, and we did quite a number on the infected monsters at the castle, so you may have a case of murderous babies.

Of course I will! But...Elecmon and I have been watching the number of eggs popping up, especially after your raid on the castle, but...only the usual amount showed up.

Elecmon says there's always a certain number of eggs, like from Digimon fighting each other. It's never more than...maybe fifteen a week, unless something really big happens.

But...the castle, or the invasions into the city... They didn't cause any more. It's like the Digimon who're killed are just...disappearing.

I think Koushirou-san said the one near the old Koromon Village has a Myotismon in it... I don't know about the castle, but that might be the strongest.

The castle proved very difficult to manage while I was there, though I am concerned that my presence drew out more powerful Digimon.

I'll be waiting at the missions board with the device from Koushirou-san...but remember to go with others. The Digimon that come out of those fields are supposed to be really strong.

You should be careful. Those Digimon are stronger than usual, and they don't seem to die, just regenerate.

If it helps, Taiki-san said there hasn't been a single Digimon around the castle since you guys left.

... You're fucking joking. That's... Chika said something about beams that could permanently kill a Digimon, but they didn't affect higher-level ones. But if this virus could prevent their reincarnation as well...

... No, we might be missing an obvious solution. Permanently killing Digimon doesn't do anyone any good, there's no benefit to be gained. Is it possible instead of killing them, they're being rerouted elsewhere when they die? So their eggs can be raised and set out on us again.

...I don't know about that one. Before there was a Devimon and a Myotismon, a Champion and an Ultimate. They were both more powerful than they should've been. That's why a team of four would probably be best.

There's another boy who wants to go there too! You can work together.

We don't know. That's just Elecmon's theory. I've never heard of digi-eggs going anywhere but Primary Village unless the egg belongs to a Chosen...but nothing about this is anything we've seen before.

Koushirou-san's trying to make something that can extract data from one of the virus Digimon, so he can analyze it. He needs data from the fields before he can, though. That's why this is the first step.

A fine sentiment, but you do not need to worry for my sake.
