Hello! With everyone coming and going, a lot of you might not know me, but I'm Hikari Yagami, one of the earlier Chosen Children. With my brother and the others out looking for clues... [And leaving her behind.] I'm sort of...a home-base, he called it.

He told me since some of you are restless here, you can help Koushirou-san. He's trying to get data for a device to shut down the Dark Fields, but he's also trying to research that virus we heard about, so he can't get it himself... That's why my brother told me to use that mission board the Trailmon set up! We need at least four people each to go to the four Dark Fields and get data from them.

You don't need to go inside, don't worry! Just have someone get close enough to stick a data-gatherer in and the others keep any wild Digimon distracted.

[A very tiny pause.]

Gatomon and I can help, if anyone needs it. Just don't tell Taichi.

[ooc: What Hikari's referring to are these missions here for the last week of August, recently put up. This will be important for September's plot.]

[It switches to video and Hikari holds up a walkie-talkie like device. She puts a finger on its antenna.] If this gets in the Dark Field and can extract enough data, then we can see what we can do about shutting them down.

Too many people have gotten caught in them already. We don't want to send anyone else in.

... Oh.

[Well, that's better than he was expecting.]

You want us to just throw them in? That's all?

[Hikari appears incredibly thankful that he understands.]

Not quite. We need the device back. That's why I'm going to help hold off any Digimon that try to attack at Primary Village, and why you need a team to help.

A few minutes of it gathering data, and the team can get out of there, with the device, and we'll analyze it, to create a shut-down switch.

I don't have a team.

But... will understanding these things... will that help us go home?
