[The video shoots on suddenly, showing what appears to be a very upset woman. Judging by how the feed bobs up and down and the even more obvious moving scenery, it looks like she's walking around the city while she glares into that feed.
This can only go well.]
Okay, I wanna know who the fraggin' genius was who--
Hey! That is not what we said we were using the D-Terminal for!
[She's cut off by a child-like voice, its friendly tone a huge contrast in comparison to her much more stern one.]
You have to be nice. Here, I'll teach you how! Lemme see that.
You better not--
[But it's too late, the device is snatched from her hands and put in front of a much more happier face. The big, blue eyes of Tapirmon seem to sparkle with delight as he addresses everyone in the city.]
Hi everybody! I'm Tapirmon!
[Seriously, he sounds like he's five.]
My, um, partner needs help. Help with being...um, I know the word... "organic".
[He beams at his ability to remember Arcee's plight. That is, her struggles with suddenly being human. There's no easy way to say it, she's not really sure what to do. ...And it's not like small tapir monsters can help her out.]
Just so we're clear, this thing is not my partner.
[Might as well throw that in. Anyone want it? She can't seem to shake it it.]
This can only go well.]

....Organic?
[Hiccup leans back a little, appearing to be sitting on a bench somewhere not far from the apartment building near the Terminal. Gomamon is sitting in his lap, holding the communicator in his claws since he wouldn't shut up until Hiccup allowed him to answer one of the videos at least once.
And there sure have been a lot of them lately, so might as well get to know people.
Gomamon purses his lips before looking up at Hiccup, the boy just visible above the Digimon's head.]
I'm thinkin' she means somethin' like....bein' a human. Since so many Chosen don't seem to be people in the first place. Boy oh boy you'd think they'd be smart enough to pick just HUMANS but nooo-
[The boy lets out a heavy breath. It's a chore to correct or even scold Gomamon for being blunt anymore, so he just ignores him for now. That and he's exhausted from all the walking he's done today.]
You'd think.
[She continues to look around the city for anything remotely helpful, avoiding looking at her own reflection in the many building's windows in the process. This was...beyond embarrassing.
Still...it's been a long time since she's been in a city she actually fits in. What an almost surreal feeling, it was like she was becoming accustomed to being a giant.
Tapirmon, on the other hand, continues to be delighted by his use of the D-Terminal, even more so now that they got an answer.]
Yeah, she was metal!
[Just to exaggerate his point, he clanks his own metal mask with one of those tapir-stump arms. Yes, he fully expects everyone to know what being metal is.]
[That's more of a deadpan statement than a question, because Hiccup doesn't at all understand. How could he, when he doesn't know what the heck a robot is? Either way, someone's going to have to explain or he'll just continue being clueless.
Meanwhile, Gomamon makes a face, huffing.]
How come your partner will let you use the D-Terminal? ...Hic barely lets me TOUCH ours.
Arcee takes the Terminal back from her cutesy little monster thing. Gomamon makes a great point, why SHOULD she let Tapirmon touch her things?]
Awww...
Look, I shouldn't even be talking about this, but I don't have much of a choice. Let's just skip the scrap and say I'm a giant robot.
[That's what humans normally describe them as. (Although she doesn't think she's giant, you people are just too small) You've watched TV before, right Hiccup?
...Right?]
A robot is a big metal person, sorta. ...Like how your leg is metal too, but like- ..the whole guy.
[The Digimon perks when he looks back over and finally catches a good look of Arcee. A small smile crosses his face. ...More of a smirk, really.]
You're gonna hafta excuse my partner here. He's from the stone-age, basically.
...I am not.
Of course he is. Perfect.
[Because she doesn't feel like an idiot now. At least Gomamon was able to simplify it for her. There was a good chance she would've lost it if he hadn't.]
Well there's your rundown, kiddo. Not exactly thrilled with the change.
Y'see? Stone Age.
[Hiccup groans and pushes Gomamon away from the screen, causing him to let out a grunt of surprise.]
..You're not the only one who changed when they got here, at least. ...If it helps, I'm not too happy about being here either.
[THE URGE TO RIP HERSELF OUT OF HER OWN BODY IS EXTREMELY STRONG. Don't even try to compare unhappiness, kid.]
So how long have you been here? If you really want to help, I could use someone to fill me in on the do's and don'ts.
I haven't been here long at all. All I've been told to do is find my apartment, stay in it, and wait. ...And try not to get into trouble until something bad does happen, sounds like.
[Wait, no. No...She probably shouldn't jump to that conclusion. She knows teenagers better than that, sadly.]
Unless you're smart. Can you do anything?
Hiccup can build stuff! He built that leg of his.
[The boy frowns, shaking his head a bit.]
I didn't make it, Gobber did...but he taught me what I know.
Okay, good start. So what can you make?
[Hiccup counts off on his fingers as he lists the different inventions and items he's constructed in the past.]
And I could have made my leg I...I guess, but I wasn't exactly awake for that part.
[At that, Hiccup angles the D-Terminal down a bit so Arcee can see his metal foot, so what they've been saying actually makes sense.]
Looks primitive. But if it's effective, then I guess it doesn't matter.
[Also what's a dragon?]
You should keep practicing your skill so you don't get rusty when the time comes. Not sure what that time is, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. There's got to be a scrapyard around here somewhere.
..mm. Guess you're right...but with all of the new inventions here, I don't think I know how to make anything updated enough for anyone here to use.
[Especially if it's coming from the sky. Fast.]
Right. Well, I'll....try to take your advice and keep trying to build new things. ..Just finding things to build with, and a place to DO it, is the problem.
We can help!!
[Yes, hello, he's still here.]
We can help and make all kinds of stuff!
[Gomamon squints, tapping his claws thoughtfully on Hiccup's shoulders.]
You know how to build stuff?
[Arcee shoots a glare at Tapirmon, annoyed he'd offer to assist complete strangers when they have a much bigger dilemma on their hands.]
Okay, we can't make-MAKE things, but we can help hold stuff or put it together. It'll get done faster!
Well that sounds just great, Tapirmon. You guys will have to let me know when you're available to lend a helping hand.
We'll always be ready! We just need to find our room first, but I don't have anything planned. I think.
That's great! You might not have anything planned, but I do. Stop making plans for me.
But--but we're partners. We have to do everything together.
[He states this like it's fact. To which Arcee groans and tries to shove him away.]
[While Tapirmon was talking, Gomamon had the strangest expression growing on his face. It's unsure whether he likes this idea or not, so for the moment he just stays silent.]
Good to know I've got another set of friends in this place, though.
[If they....could call themselves friends anyway. Acquaintances, perhaps?]
Arcee stops and looks into the Terminal completely stunned. Really? That fast? He doesn't even know her name and he's calling themselves friends?
She wasn't even nice to them.]
I...
[Is this what automatic trust feels like? WAIT, NO. Pull it together, Arcee. This is no time to get sappy.]
Right... friends...
[...but it doesn't mean she can't like this.]
WOOHOO! I knew we could do it!
Yeah yeah, friends! As in, you scratch our backs and we'll scratch yours. Capiche?
Gomamon- ...don't, you'll break it-
