[accidentally hitting record while he was inspecting the terminal was one of the last things on conner's mind at the moment. this place seems to be too farfetched to be considered real at the moment. besides, he probably has a concussion right now seeing as how blue kind of knocked him out three seconds ago before he got here. how...ever.... that happened.

anyway! he seems to be in a very serious conversation right now given the slight scowl he has on his face.]

Yeah, yeah. I know, I read the note. [conner sighs as he looks up and to the side. reading all of that with a throbbing headache was no easy feat either. conner purses his lips a little as he looks over the screen at whoever he's talking to. first things first, he needs to find something to dull the pain in his head.] Do you know if this place has aspirin or something that can alleviate headaches?

Aspirin? No, I don't. [a pause.] But maybe you can ask on there!

[conner deadpans a little as he looks down at the terminal in his hand.] I guess.... [his eyes widen a little when he realizes that the terminal had been on all along. welp that was embarrassing!] Well is there?

[Kaldur's look shifts to one of slight confusion.]

M'gann? I am afraid I do not understand, to what are you referring? [The only time he can remember M'gann needing to "fix" anyone was Bialya. Wally was from that point...was Conner?] This is not about Bialya is it? That was months ago...for myself at least.

[he eyes kaldur curiously. he's PRETTY sure kaldur would remember m'gann frying his brain so bad that she kind of broke him. unless he's not on the same page. and that's seeming to be the case more and more. he opens his mouth and closes it.] Bialya? Why would this be something like that? Psimon was the one who messed with your mind back th-- [he groans internally. two months? yea ok, noep.] What's the last thing that happened?

[While it was true that Psimon was the one that messed them up, it was M'gann who fixed them which was the part Kaldur had focused on.]

It was New Year's Day. I was leaving the Watchtower after our New Years celebrations for some sleep. But instead of a zeta tube, I was brought here.

[he squints a little at the screen.] What year is it?

[The question of the year leads him to a conclusion and he decides to ask. It can't hurt, right? And this conversation does seem to be heading in that direction.

Although this is going to raise more questions if he is correct because Beast Boy said some confusing things as well.]

Conner. Are you from the same time as Beast Boy? I spoke to him a few days ago and he was surprised when I told him I was 16 and thought at first I was attempting to pull a joke on him.

[his eyes widen a little at the mention of beast boy.] Gar's here? [he shakes his head. well at least he's not totally alone when it comes to understanding future things!!! also he isn't really surprised that gar would think that either. oh gar.]

Yeah kind of. I don't know if we're on the same page since this place can pull you from just about anything, apparently, but yeah. I'm-- it's 2016 from where I've been pulled from.

You may wish to check, there are two here going by the name Beast Boy. It is...a little confusing but the one that didn't know me is going by Changeling to make things easier. [he sighs.] To make matters more confusing they have roomed both of the Beast Boys together and they are practically twins.

[Superboy does not look like he has changed much in...5 years? Yes, that matches up with about when Gar told him he was from.]

So far it seems that none of us have been pulled from the same time. Wally is from even earlier.

There are two Gar's? [his mind is officially blown. that's.... crazyyyy but then again wally did mention different universes, so... maybe one of them is from there???] Yeah, I can see how that'd be.... overwhelming.

[the bit about wally makes him look down though. Yeah I know. He's from our mission in Bialya. That complicates things. Even if M'gann were here she wouldn't be able to fix his memories. So... I guess we're going to have to start off from scratch. [which makes things harder for him since wally hasn't been on the team for years. or smth.]

[Kaldur nods. Conner might have an easier time of telling them apart if he knows one of them...but they DO look very similar.]

[Guess what room Kaldur has already figured out is the loudest. The amusement vanishes though and is replaced with a nod.]

I know. There is not much we can do. But perhaps given time...[He shrugs. Mental stuff like that...it had to be tricky and there was no telling what effects this might have on Wally in the long run.] I suppose you've already discovered your abilities are nullified then?

No, you didn't. [he can't help but laugh at that thought as he shakes his head. when the conversation turns to the serious side he gives a small sigh as he nods his head.]

Figured that out the hard way. Usually I'm used to taking hard hits and shrugging them off. But when my headache didn't go away that was one of the things that clued me in on our powers being taken away.

You seem to be handling it better than Wally.

[Conner may look the same but he's apparently gotten a bit more mature, Kaldur can only picture his time's Conner raging about it. This Conner seems...calm.]

I've had time to cope. Not over this exactly, but.... I don't exactly have a flash point temper anymore. I'll still get angry over certain things, but I won't handle them the way I did when I was younger.

[Conner without a flash point temper was certainly something to imagine.]
