[The feed turns onto darkness and the sound of frantic typing. There's a sound of movement as an insect Digimon moves a way a box. The room it shows seems to only contain a thirteen-year-old boy and said Digimon, if you don't count several computers and heaps of water bottles.]
Thanks. [Koushirou only briefly glanced up at his partner before turning his attention to the computer and finishing up a piece of information.]
[With a sigh he turns his attention to the D-Terminal.]
Hello there. I know I've introduced myself before, but now that we're doing it somewhat in person-- my name's Koushirou Izumi. This is my partner Tentomon.
I know many of you have questions, so I'm going to answer them the best that I can. It's taken a while with how things are going and I haven't been able to reach Gennai-san until recently, but what we have should help.
Six months ago an abnormality appeared across the Digital Plane. We're still working out what it is, but the outcome was the merger of worlds. Whatever it is has managed to reach the connection to all the worlds. Since then the worlds have lost their balance. Earthquakes happen frequently as the worlds shift on top of each other. All of you appeared after the last one, which we feared was going to happen.
The Digital World uses us as a sort of defensive mechanism, this is because the bond between Digimon and Human is great. Normally, the Digital World doesn't call so many of us at one. I believe that just shows how dire our situation is. Every Chosen Child that has ever been born is being called to this one point in time.
Unfortunately, the only way to end things and go home quicker is to fight. We have some leads right now that a few of my friends are out checking on. Gennai-san has also started traveling between the rest of the Digital Worlds to see if there's any information he can gather. We've gotten closer to some answers recently, but I'm afraid we still don't have nearly enough...
[He glances at the computer screen.]
Right now everything is kind of hectic. We're torn between finding the answers and keeping the worlds from totally collapsing. I'm not sure how well it's going to end...
Anyway, please, i you have any questions, feel free to ask them. I'll answer to the best of my ability, but try to remember that we don't know all the details to the situation right now.
I'd like to take a moment to remind you all that we're all in the same boat here, and it's not a fun boat, no matter how many parades they put on. Try to be understanding of other people, got it? Most of you are good about this, but a few of you seem to need a reminder.
[Yes, this is entirely about what happened with Cam. Shep is disappoint, guys.]
But on a lighter note. Does anyone know how to train digimon?
[In the background, Monodramon pokes his head into the frame and waves.]
They're not soldiers, so I can hardly put the Cadet through basic, but they're not animals either. I get the feeling the techniques I used with my ex-girlfriend's dog won't work here.
Fuji TV Station. The boy's hair is a windswept mess. If anyone's met Robin, then Tim Drake's voice will sound a little higher-- more natural, really.]
Hi, guys. I just got here and I was wondering--
[That's when a purple horn appears on screen. It's almost like Tim tries to hide it. He continues chatting like nothing happened. Like maybe he just felt like readjusting his hold on the Terminal.]
You know how we were given some of the... digital money to spend? Well... what happens if we blew it all off already? I mean, have you guys seen the mall?
I smell... sweet. Why-
And has anyone asked the train-mons what the price is to go to another city?
[It seemed like the newer influx of Chosens couldn't have come at a better time. The D-Terminal is angled like anyone would angle a camera phone for a self-shot, a little lower, though, so his vision's not obstructed as he continues to walk ahead. Behind him is a view of the

wing-like appendages sprouting from her back.]
Hey! Who's in charge here? Because whoever it is, I've got some things to say to them!
[With her free hand, she hefts a Digimon into view of the screen. It's a Dracmon, and it looks kind of distraught. Well, as much as something can when its eyes are in its hands.]
First of all, where do they get off calling these things monsters? They're practically a joke! If you put one of these things in front of any real youkai, they'd probably laugh themselves sick, and that's assuming they don't just eat it as an afternoon snack.
[Yes, this is apparently the first thing she saw fit to complain about. She unceremoniously releases her grip on her partner's collar, letting him drop back to the ground below as she continues her ranting without pause.]
Secondly—
[But whatever she had intended to say next is cut off by a whimpering sound. Nue looks downward, and then she crouches, still holding D-Terminal out and away from herself to continue recording. The whimpering must be coming from Dracmon, as she promptly reaches out to jab its cheek with a finger.]
Hey! You're not going to cry, are you? If you want to make me take you seriously, whining isn't the way to do it.
[Looks like she'll probably keep bullying him until someone says something about it.]
[The young woman that appears on screen is petite, dark-haired, and obviously displeased with her situation. She is, apparently, also not human, what with the pointed ears and strange

anyway! he seems to be in a very serious conversation right now given the slight scowl he has on his face.]
—And you're sure that this isn't one big dream?
Yes, I am quite sure. You were brought here to-
Yeah, yeah. I know, I read the note. [conner sighs as he looks up and to the side. reading all of that with a throbbing headache was no easy feat either. conner purses his lips a little as he looks over the screen at whoever he's talking to. first things first, he needs to find something to dull the pain in his head.] Do you know if this place has aspirin or something that can alleviate headaches?
Aspirin? No, I don't. [a pause.] But maybe you can ask on there!
[conner deadpans a little as he looks down at the terminal in his hand.] I guess.... [his eyes widen a little when he realizes that the terminal had been on all along. welp that was embarrassing!] Well is there?
Light, can you hold this for me?
[As the camera shifts perspective, we can see that Hope is standing beside a jeep. With a confused look on his face.]
This is not a car. Is this supposed to be a car?
How should I know? You're the human.
But cars in Cocoon aren't like this. Or even in Gran Pulse. It's big and bulky-- is it even efficient? This is just... it really looks like old technology. [No Hope, it's a modern jeep. You're just from futureland.
With a bit of grunting he pops the hood and peers into the engine. ... And makes a huge face because how the heck can this thing even run when all these components. Well, only one way to find out. He takes off his gloves (but not his wrist bandanna, oh no) and starts getting his hands dirty with the engine. His Renamon makes an affronted noise because what the hell.]
[It's been a few days since she's been here, but Namine's still a little restless. Just a little bit. She still believes that she shouldn't be here, that she needs to go back because there's something important that needs to be done. But there's no easy way to find backdoor it seems.]
Is anyone here good at hacking or programming?
Would it be entirely possible to create a way out through those means?
[It would mean leaving Lunamon behind, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. And if they can't find a way out, whose to say that they can't make one?]

[ The feed opens to a very determined looking Psychemon. Because you see his partner is in trouble! And he's decided he need to find some help. ]
Hi! My partner Kazu needs medical attention. Is there anyone around who knows first-
PSYCHEMON! What are you doing?!
[ The sound of frantic foot steps can be heard and a few seconds later part of Kazu's legs can be seen on the screen. ]
You fell in the river so I'm getting you medical assistance.
I'm just wet, not hurt!
But you were flailing around like crazy...
That's... before I realized I could stand up in it.
[ Dammit. Kazu had counted his lucky stars that no one had been around to see that particular wipeout (he momentarily forgot that he couldn't quite clear distances that far for the moment). He knew Psychemon probably meant well.. but geez. With a sigh he gently pried his D-Terminal from Psychemon's paws. Now that his face is visible on the screen he clearly is quite wet. ]
Look, sorry. I'm okay really.
[ Ahahaha... this was awkward. Should he keep talking? Should he just disconnect here. ]
So uh, hey. How's everyone getting along and stuff?
[ God he was just so lame sometimes. ]

There were three of us. I don't understand why there has to be so many now.
[ There's no audible answer and Ruki rolls her eyes, resettling her attention on the screen. ]
Look. I'm tired of waiting, so I'm making a proposal:
Anyone who wants to train, meet me outside of the public training buildings at seven a.m., every morning. The goal is to be able to leave the city and go fight for real after a week or so, so don't bother coming if you're going to drag your feet.
