I must say, I am impressed, my dear Chosen Children. You managed to shut down the Dark Fields of a program gone berserk. Conquered the castle of a digimon with smaller plans then his intelligence. Successfully defended your city for the forces of those that would lay siege to...well your everything.

[A pause as the giant digimon gives them a small, maybe even slightly sarcastic round of applause. Like that of a Police Captain getting promoted to Commissioner after arresting a killer clown with the help of a crazed man in a bat costume.]

And to think, you did it without those you were meant to be partner with.

[Titamon lets out a hearty laugh.]

So let me ask this of you, my dear Chosen Children.

Do your digivices have Manpowered INC. emblazoned on the back of them?

You!

[A much smaller Digimon approaches now, zooming toward the giant. A more familiar one as well.]

At last, Titamon, I’ve found you. What are you doing here, monster?

[Strange. They don’t seem to be friendly.]

Well, well, well, if it isn’t the little pawn of those little warmongering, tyrants. I’m surprised they let you off your leash. Or is more, that they don’t need you anymore?

[Another laugh, this time, though this time there was no joviality in him. It was the laugh of someone about to relish something impure. And hatred. About a metric ton worth of hatred.]

Leave, and tell your master he’s next, if you value your core.

[With that, his bone sword was embedded deep into the earth, as he cracked his knuckles.]

Or are you foolhardy enough, to tread against that which your frivolous devotion fears to?

[Though she does not retreat Lotusmon appears a little more wary.]

I am not a pawn. I am my master’s loyal servant, and you could never destroy him!

[She grips her Caduceus with a glare.]

What are you doing here? Trying to appeal to the worthless Chosen? They can’t even keep order among themselves...though I suppose for a creature such as yourself that’s ideal, isn’t it?

[Like the snakes on her staff, her words drip with venom.]

You wouldn’t be able to grasp what I am doing until I have your digicore, breaking in my hand. But I’ll give you a hint.

This is more of an experiment than anything. What would my dear, loveable chosen do, if they were to find out there beloved partners were mere shades of who they were suppose to be with?

Would they collapse on themselves? Would they band together? Or would they just not give a fuck?

[The hatred digimon snapped his fingers.]

Koou Meijin.

[And from the skulls on his arms, two small armies appear, one going towards the city, the other towards Lotusmon.]

Talk like this world and your mental capacity, is phantasmal. Back it up, pawn or scurry home.

If you can escape that is.

[She gasps, swinging her Caduceus and letting out a black aura to push back the army.] You…! You’re going to ruin everything, you disgusting-- I won’t let you soil my the plans of my masters!

[More and more blasts fire at the approaching undead army, yet they don’t die down.]

Amethyst Wind!

[A shower of cherry blossom petal begins falling, and a new figure emerges with a veritable army of digimon behind her. It’s Sakuyamon, and although she’s holding herself as regally as ever, something about her seems barely held together.]

I think you shall find, Titamon, that the chosen are much more resilient than we have given them credit for. And your experiment may very well be your own undoing, as now each of them has twice the power that they did before. [She turns, not addressing Titamon anymore.] Go. Find your chosen. I will buy you time.

[There’s something slightly wild and very determined about Sakuyamon now, as she turns. Then, with everything left in her, she launches herself at Titamon. It’s not an attack that’s meant to bring down Titamon, merely one that’s meant to buy a little more time.]

Fox Drive!

Tch, another fool.

[The attacks hit the giant as he pulled his blade out the ground.]

Begone. Konpaku Shingeki

[And with that, Titamon unceremoniously slices at Sakuyamon, the blade bypassing everything, and going for her core, if she does not get out of the way.]

You will not win against them.

[It’s strained, and Sakuyamon moves but not fast enough. The blade catches her, causing enough damage that she passes out. And then Sakuyamon gets punted into the city by a giant green foot.]
