Sort of.]
H-Hey everyone! I’m Jyou if...you’ve never met me before. I help Koushirou, Taiki-san, and Hikari-chan with things, but I don’t think that’s--That really isn’t the important thing here!
[He takes in a deep breath before adjusting placement of his glasses on his nose.]
I think it’s best if we set the Meeting Hall up as a shelter. And maybe a medic station? If what Taiki-san is true, then people and Digimon...there’s a high probability that they’re going to get hurt. Gomamon and I will make sure that everything is ready. You know, just in case the worst should happen.
[His hand comes up to remove his glasses, the same hand then pinching the bridge of his nose as his eyes drift close.]
Let’s just hope that the worst doesn’t happen.
[Jyou’s glasses are replaced on his nose before he cuts the feed.]
[[OOC: All further interactions can be found here.]]
I don't know what your problem is!
Ohooo, MY problem? I'm not the one with the problem here pal! You kid are the one who wants to just- just rush out an' get your stupid, prehistoric butt handed to ya over some- some guy ya don't even KNOW!
[There's a loud rustle over the microphone as the terminal is jostled again before finally a video of some sort can be seen, but for now it's just the floor. Hiccup has it in his fist, but hasn't even had the chance to turn it on himself yet.]
Why wouldn't I want to help, Gomamon? Weren't you the one who tried to tear Monodramon apart for no good reason? What's so different about this, except that you're actually- I don't know- HELPING someone?!
[More movement. Hiccup stumbles back slightly, and there's a loud whine as he suddenly runs into the desk and knocks it back a few inches.]
He- ...That WAS for a good freakin' reason ya- ...ya know what, forget it. FORGET. IT. If you wanna go get yourself AND ME killed by bein' some big hero, go right on ahead! See if I care!
Care? Since when have you cared about anything but yourself in the first place!?
[There's a loud door slam, then silence, save for the sound of Hiccup breathing heavily over the feed. He...somehow ended up in the hallway. He doesn't care much about that right now though, he just wanted out of there. The video is still nothing but the floor as he slides to sit on the floor with his back to the wall. Then, finally, he turns the video on himself for just a split second to realize he was still....recording.
The feed cuts abruptly.]
[Early morning the night of the twenty-first a maybe familiar boy appears on every screen in Terminal Tokyo. Computer screens light up, televisions, and everyone's D-Terminals. If the other day's appearance showed a mess of a room, today's was even worse as he didn't even pay attention to the feed as he spoke.]
Sorry for intruding on your sleep, everyone, but we've got an emergency on our hands.
The other day Taichi-san found a new development close to Primary Village. For now we'll call it a Digital Field. It looked somewhat similar to what we saw when we came to the Digital World-- a bright light streaming with data. It's a large area and emitting a lot of powerful signals. The areas close to it doesn't seem to be affected, but... Well...
Taichi-san decided to get a closer look against my better judgement. I've lost contact with him for the past three days.
[He pauses, frowning, before turning the computer screen to face the D-Terminal. The screen shows several surveillance cameras and each one says the same thing in various areas: an army of Beemon, of all sorts, traveling across land and destroying anything in their wake.]
Right now there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of different kinds of Beemon making their way across the Digital World. From what I can tell they're all headed here to Terminal Tokyo. The closest wave will be here in two days time and while city defenses can hold them off for a bit... we can't hold off all of them.
We need your help, everyone, to find Taichi and to protect the city. I can't say what's going on with that field, but that's why we'll need people to protect anyone who goes in. Helping Elecmon with the baby Digimon is also a priority since we don't know what will happen in the next few days.
[He turned the computer screen away, shaking his head.] I know some of you were wanting to help, so here's your chance.
