[In the late afternoon, Sakuyamon pops up on the D-Terminals again. She's on a ship now, and the background behind her rises and falls with the waves.]

Captain Hookmon has just arrived. However, we won't be leaving until the sun rises, so if you would like to come with me there is still time. [A beat.] I will be back in the future, if you are still undecided.

[Sakuyamon is somewhere in the forest surrounding Hospitown. It's dark, the picture lit by a flickering fire, and she seems very serious. The sound of running water can be heard in the background.]

Hello, Chosen. I know many of you do not trust me, and I do not blame you for this. However, I am here to offer you a safe haven. You do not have to swear allegiance to me, or even trust me, but I have seen you defend a city as if it were your own and then have that city taken from you.

This world is and always will be my home and now I would like to share my home with you. I live in a place called The Forest of the Gods, where we believe in peace and the preservation of the Digital World.

If you would like to come with me, I will be leaving as soon as my associate arrives with his ship in three or so days.
I must say, I am impressed, my dear Chosen Children. You managed to shut down the Dark Fields of a program gone berserk. Conquered the castle of a digimon with smaller plans then his intelligence. Successfully defended your city for the forces of those that would lay siege to...well your everything.

[A pause as the giant digimon gives them a small, maybe even slightly sarcastic round of applause. Like that of a Police Captain getting promoted to Commissioner after arresting a killer clown with the help of a crazed man in a bat costume.]

And to think, you did it without those you were meant to be partner with.

[Titamon lets out a hearty laugh.]

So let me ask this of you, my dear Chosen Children.

Do your digivices have Manpowered INC. emblazoned on the back of them?

You!

[A much smaller Digimon approaches now, zooming toward the giant. A more familiar one as well.]

At last, Titamon, I’ve found you. What are you doing here, monster?

[Strange. They don’t seem to be friendly.]

Well, well, well, if it isn’t the little pawn of those little warmongering, tyrants. I’m surprised they let you off your leash. Or is more, that they don’t need you anymore?

[Another laugh, this time, though this time there was no joviality in him. It was the laugh of someone about to relish something impure. And hatred. About a metric ton worth of hatred.]

Leave, and tell your master he’s next, if you value your core.

[With that, his bone sword was embedded deep into the earth, as he cracked his knuckles.]

Or are you foolhardy enough, to tread against that which your frivolous devotion fears to?

[Though she does not retreat Lotusmon appears a little more wary.]

I am not a pawn. I am my master’s loyal servant, and you could never destroy him!

[She grips her Caduceus with a glare.]

What are you doing here? Trying to appeal to the worthless Chosen? They can’t even keep order among themselves...though I suppose for a creature such as yourself that’s ideal, isn’t it?

[Like the snakes on her staff, her words drip with venom.]

You wouldn’t be able to grasp what I am doing until I have your digicore, breaking in my hand. But I’ll give you a hint.

This is more of an experiment than anything. What would my dear, loveable chosen do, if they were to find out there beloved partners were mere shades of who they were suppose to be with?

Would they collapse on themselves? Would they band together? Or would they just not give a fuck?

[The hatred digimon snapped his fingers.]

Koou Meijin.

[And from the skulls on his arms, two small armies appear, one going towards the city, the other towards Lotusmon.]

Talk like this world and your mental capacity, is phantasmal. Back it up, pawn or scurry home.

If you can escape that is.

[She gasps, swinging her Caduceus and letting out a black aura to push back the army.] You…! You’re going to ruin everything, you disgusting-- I won’t let you soil my the plans of my masters!

[More and more blasts fire at the approaching undead army, yet they don’t die down.]

Amethyst Wind!

[A shower of cherry blossom petal begins falling, and a new figure emerges with a veritable army of digimon behind her. It’s Sakuyamon, and although she’s holding herself as regally as ever, something about her seems barely held together.]

I think you shall find, Titamon, that the chosen are much more resilient than we have given them credit for. And your experiment may very well be your own undoing, as now each of them has twice the power that they did before. [She turns, not addressing Titamon anymore.] Go. Find your chosen. I will buy you time.

[There’s something slightly wild and very determined about Sakuyamon now, as she turns. Then, with everything left in her, she launches herself at Titamon. It’s not an attack that’s meant to bring down Titamon, merely one that’s meant to buy a little more time.]

Fox Drive!

Tch, another fool.

[The attacks hit the giant as he pulled his blade out the ground.]

Begone. Konpaku Shingeki

[And with that, Titamon unceremoniously slices at Sakuyamon, the blade bypassing everything, and going for her core, if she does not get out of the way.]

You will not win against them.

[It’s strained, and Sakuyamon moves but not fast enough. The blade catches her, causing enough damage that she passes out. And then Sakuyamon gets punted into the city by a giant green foot.]

[It's been a while since Sakuyamon hijacked the network, and the background is the same as usual - if darker, because it's night. However, the picture seems lower quality than Sakuyamon's previous posts and the audio seems to have a slight amount of static.]

Chosen Children, we have not located Lotusmon yet, but I have something else to tell you. We have discovered something called "ARCLoner" that we are looking into. We know it to be important, but have no information on why.

[Sakuyamon looks very tired, suddenly.] I cannot talk further. Goodbye.

[A familiar face to some of the people in Terminal Tokyo appears abruptly on every D-Terminal in the afternoon. Sakuyamon, in front of the same expansive forest she was last time, seems very serious but also worried. And maybe a little tired.]

Hello, Chosen.

I know many of you may not think highly of me, but I wanted to inform you that I have a lead on Lotusmon's whereabouts and I've sent my followers after her. They're tracking her down as we speak - I will keep you updated on our progress. Rest assured, we will bring her to justice.

[There's a pause, Sakuyamon looking even more serious than before.] I am sorry for our earlier introduction, Chosen Children. We . . .We are on the same side.

[The connection cuts, but Sakuyamon may respond to specific questions.]

[EVENT: RAMPAGE]

  • Jun. 19th, 2013 at 9:32 AM
[Early in the morning, all D-Terminals turn on abruptly. On them is a familiar face, Sakuyamon. She appears, unlike last time, less angry and more worried and frustrated. Behind her is an expansive forest that, as far as anyone can see, is not familiar.]

Chosen. I must be brief. I can't hold this connection for long. It seems my followers have taken my message a little...differently than I'd intended.

Petermon and Tinkermon are returning to your city, and they bring with them a large group of Rookies and In-Training who they've brainwashed into following them, as well as several Armors who I assume were...persuaded by the two of them. I have no doubt they're going to use this opportunity to cause as much havoc as possible. Despite my irritation, I don't want any of you harmed.

Their handler, CaptainHookmon, is perusing them, but he likely can't reach you until late tonight, after their estimated arrival. I am too far away to get there in time. The most I can do is provide this warning.

...Please don't kill my followers. They are misguided, but they are young. And an event like that, when they're reborn, would prevent them from ever seeing the good we know you are capable of doing.

Good luck. Take haste.

[She looks behind her, and the feed abruptly cuts.]

[ooc: As implied, she won't be responding to this post! You can, however, use it for IC plannings, or make your own. The log will be going up shortly.]

We come here seeking an audience with the Chosen Children for the good of the Digital World, yet we find them playing in the streets!

Unacceptable. [Sakuyamon, Miko Mode, brandishes her haraegushi. Yep, she's pissed.]

Heed me, Chosen Children, for I will not repeat myself. With me are Petermon and Tinkermon, and they shall be given orders to stop this game at once.

They will enter one of your races, and should they win, these distractions will cease and you will focus your attentions on the villages who have been attacked, and protecting those that soon will be. Should you instead win [a bit of a condescending pause] then you may have your toys back.

Uphold your end of the bargain, Chosen Children, because we will ours. [A wave of her empty hand this time. Let the games begin.]

Connection terminated |

[[ooc: MINI-EVENT IS A GO! Petermon and Tinkermon will be entering the Chain Chomp Wheel race-- a battle course, appropriately enough-- so start your engines and get to racing! The race doesn't need to get to completion-- you just have to knock out their balloons. Should the two NPCs have three or less between them, then you win and you can race in Rainbow Road! Good luck!

In addition, if you haven't gotten your Digimon to get to Champion level yet, then feel free to do so now, because you'll need all the help you can get to win.]]
