[Palms the back of his neck. How does I social interaction.] Hey, those Digimon who wanted stuff done? Like scarves and things. I got 'em. Just tell me where you guys live and I'll drop 'em off.
[Off-screen, you can hear a Salamon going "And he'll make more for other people too!!"]
Stop saying shit before me! Sheesh...
Yeah, what he said, but I ain't doing all that big elaborate stuff 'cause I don't have enough materials lyin' around.
And well uh.
[Fidget.] You still want those lessons, Fluttershy?
[[ooc: I don't remember the requesters off the top of my head but if your Digimon asked for something in Kanji's previous post, this is your claiming post! Also, other guys, feel free to make more requests.]]
As some of us anticipated, the reality of being here is more than just the parades and games we have experienced the past few days. While the welcoming from the Damemon and the Chosen before us was appreciated, it is now time to focus on the matter at hand. I will not repeat what Koushirou has already informed us of but I would like for us to spend these next two days devising a plan and perhaps forming groups that can work together and ensure everyone's safety during the imminent attack.
I know there are others here with experience in combat situations. We are limited in our resources and abilities, but that does not mean we can sit idly by and do nothing. We have been asked to help and I plan to give it as I have said I would. We were told when we arrived that we might have to face challenges like this as proposed Chosen. Why we were chosen and what it means is still left to be seen. However, I believe we can handle this first challenge, but only if we prepare and work together now as opposed to waiting for the attack to happen.
[Kaldur lets that sink in before continuing on.]
We must also consider our missing friends. Taichi may have wandered off, but I have noticed that others are gone as well. Are the two connected or is there something else at work here? We can only find out if we investigate what happened to Taichi. Koushirou and the chosen before us cannot handle this problem alone. I am not sure about the rest of you, but I would like to be with the group to go out and find Taichi. We should establish who is going and who is staying to protect the city. I ask those who are up to it to please step forward. If you do not feel that you can, there are other ways in which you can help and ensure that this attack does not end badly. That can be discussed as well. Either way, our best bet is to work together now and discuss strategy.
[That's probably the most Kaldur has ever said in one sitting. He bows his head as a sort of farewell. And then gestures behind him, it appears he is standing in front of the main Meeting Hall ]
I believe it would be prudent to put the meeting hall to use. We can set it up as a headquarters and since it is at the center of the city we can make it an easily defensible position for those unable to fight or who wish to stay safe. I do not expect everyone to fight, but if you are willing then we can find something for you to do. I am also open to thoughts from others. After all, I am new to this situation as well.
A Salamon with a knit sky blue collar that completely covers up the Holy Ring all Salamons wear around their necks. And this little guy is very pleased about that.
In the background, Kanji can be seen sitting cross-legged on his bed with his knitting needles, making what looks like Salamon-sized sky blue beanie. He doesn't seem to notice that what his Digimon is doing...]
Hey, hey-- Look at what the boss made me! [Points with one paw at the collar.] Isn't it cool? I bet all you other Digimon are out there feeling pretty j--
H-Hey! Fuckin' stop that-- [Guess who's just noticed the transmission and it looking downright shocked.] What the hell are you doin'?!
[alskdfhalsdkjfhalksd he's okay with his hobbies and all BUT SHEESH what a way to announce it to a whole bunch of strangers.]
Hey, did anyone else wind up bringing their cellphones here with them? I tried to check mine and it won't even turn on. I figured I'd at least be able to see my messages, even if I can't make any calls.
[ He flips it open again, pulls the battery out and then shoves it back in and still it won't work. Great. ]
So, am I the only lucky one having trouble here?
I'd like to take a moment to remind you all that we're all in the same boat here, and it's not a fun boat, no matter how many parades they put on. Try to be understanding of other people, got it? Most of you are good about this, but a few of you seem to need a reminder.
[Yes, this is entirely about what happened with Cam. Shep is disappoint, guys.]
But on a lighter note. Does anyone know how to train digimon?
[In the background, Monodramon pokes his head into the frame and waves.]
They're not soldiers, so I can hardly put the Cadet through basic, but they're not animals either. I get the feeling the techniques I used with my ex-girlfriend's dog won't work here.
Of course I'm sure! It's the best way to meet new people!
I guess, but what if they're already busy and-
Too late it's already on!
Eeeh? Oh no.
[And the view that was a bit shaky before finally settles to show a candlemon and a young girl who looks like she may want to go hide now.]
Hello, it is nice to meet all of you. I'm Yumemi Hidaka and I don't really understand being Chosen or what that means. I don't think I'm really what is needed here, but I'll at least try if I can really help someone.
We're in roome F2 010 so come and visit us okay!
No don't say that they may not want to do so.
