I'd like to take a moment to remind you all that we're all in the same boat here, and it's not a fun boat, no matter how many parades they put on. Try to be understanding of other people, got it? Most of you are good about this, but a few of you seem to need a reminder.

But on a lighter note. Does anyone know how to train digimon?

They're not soldiers, so I can hardly put the Cadet through basic, but they're not animals either. I get the feeling the techniques I used with my ex-girlfriend's dog won't work here.

That most likely depends on the kind of digimon. Since they each have different abilities, different styles of training would suit each of them best. For getting them to focus, I'd suggest a reward system.

Well, actually, Veemon and I didn't get a lot of time to train. We just got caught up in saving the Digital World and had to sort of...wing it as we went. Most of the partner digimon I've met in the past though are usually protective. The level you guys are at now might not look like much but every partner I've met has got a lot of passion and when the situation is serious they'll really surprise you. Right, Veemon?

The Digital World can be rough. We can handle things if you just have faith in us though, we're here to help you guys. Oh...but we need you guys to do it, we can't evolve the same way without our partner.

[Daisuke nods and then continues.] But you're right, they aren't animals. I guess if you're worried about teamwork or something we can improvise. [Daisuke looks thoughtful, closing his eyes even and tilting his head. ] Hmm...but how...

I'm gonna have to back Daisuke up, here. Agumon was born in the DATS institution, and he didn't really have any experience before he escaped. But he was able to stand up to me from the moment we met. I mean, he can be dumb sometimes, but it's like Digimon just got an talent for these things!
