[accidentally hitting record while he was inspecting the terminal was one of the last things on conner's mind at the moment. this place seems to be too farfetched to be considered real at the moment. besides, he probably has a concussion right now seeing as how blue kind of knocked him out three seconds ago before he got here. how...ever.... that happened.

anyway! he seems to be in a very serious conversation right now given the slight scowl he has on his face.]

[conner sighs as he looks up and to the side. reading all of that with a throbbing headache was no easy feat either. conner purses his lips a little as he looks over the screen at whoever he's talking to. first things first, he needs to find something to dull the pain in his head.] Do you know if this place has aspirin or something that can alleviate headaches?

Aspirin? No, I don't. [a pause.] But maybe you can ask on there!

[conner deadpans a little as he looks down at the terminal in his hand.] I guess.... [his eyes widen a little when he realizes that the terminal had been on all along. welp that was embarrassing!] Well is there?

Target or something. [He shrugs.] I carry it around in my bag because sometimes I'm too sore to function after dance even with warm-up and cool-down stretches and my bag came along with me.

[he frowns a little.] So you basically came into this place with that on you.

More or less. It's not poisoned or anything. [A beat.] Let me rephrase that: it wasn't poisoned before I got here. I have no idea if it's changed in transit.

[oh goodie, that's exactly how he likes his medicine. 50% fail 50% success.] I think I'll take the risks. [a pause.] That is if you don't mind me taking a few.

I wouldn't have offered if I did. [That's not true, Ryan. Your Disney programming compels you to be nice.] I'm in room F2-006 if you want to stop by, or I could come to you instead.

F2 006? [he looks up in thought.] We're on the same floor then. I'll be over shortly. [aaaction log y/n?]

Perfect! See you then. [He gives a small wave before disconnecting. also y to the action log!]

[conner nods his head and with that makes the very short trip to room six. he knocks on the door to announce his arrival.]

[Ryan's excepting it, but he still jumps a little. Weird place, empty apartments - it's a little creepy, okay? Candlemon looks at him curiously, but Ryan waves it off and goes to answer the door.]

Hey. [He pulls the bottle from his pocket.] You can come in, but I also have painkillers right here.

[ehh, they're not as bad. but then again conner wouldn't be the right person to ask since he likes quiet and closed off spaces. he slept (actually probably still does) in a closet once, sooo... conner nods as he steps inside, falcomon trailing along behind him.]

[Ryan's used to happy, bright colors and packed hallways. The lack of music is also more disconcerting than he's letting on. Ryan shuts the door, because leaving doors open is weird.]

[conner takes the pre-offered bottle and taps out the amount of pills he'll need to temporarily rid himself of this headache. once that's done he pops them in his mouth, tosses his head back, and swallows.]

Oh! I see, but... [a beat.] Couldn't you just sleep it off?

You can if it's a light headache or migraine, but I'd rather not risk that chance right now. [a pause as he looks over at the giant walking candlestick.] You named yours?

[Ryan chuckles. Why is everyone so surprised that he'd give his Candlemon a name? It's just common sense.]

I wanted to make sure she knew I was talking to her.
