[accidentally hitting record while he was inspecting the terminal was one of the last things on conner's mind at the moment. this place seems to be too farfetched to be considered real at the moment. besides, he probably has a concussion right now seeing as how blue kind of knocked him out three seconds ago before he got here. how...ever.... that happened.

anyway! he seems to be in a very serious conversation right now given the slight scowl he has on his face.]

—And you're sure that this isn't one big dream?

Yes, I am quite sure. You were brought here to-

Yeah, yeah. I know, I read the note. [conner sighs as he looks up and to the side. reading all of that with a throbbing headache was no easy feat either. conner purses his lips a little as he looks over the screen at whoever he's talking to. first things first, he needs to find something to dull the pain in his head.] Do you know if this place has aspirin or something that can alleviate headaches?

Aspirin? No, I don't. [a pause.] But maybe you can ask on there!

[conner deadpans a little as he looks down at the terminal in his hand.] I guess.... [his eyes widen a little when he realizes that the terminal had been on all along. welp that was embarrassing!] Well is there?

[Oh, another new person. Like her. But he doesn't seem all that thrilled to be here. Maybe she'll check on him.]

Um...are you okay? I know this place is a little...well, a LOT different, but it's not so bad.

[he rubs his head a little.] I'm not upset about that. My head just really hurts.

Oh, I'm sorry. I wish I had something to give you, but I don't think anything like that came with me. Just my purse.

It's alright. [he waves a hand as he shakes his head.] What kind of stuff do they have here?

Um, I'm not entirely sure. I thought I saw a store when I was walking around earlier. Maybe you can check there for some Tylenol or Advil?

Yeah, that seems to be what everyone else has to say too. Thanks though, any information is good information. [he pauses. well, might as well ask her since he's still got her on the line.] Do you know how to get to the apartments from the main terminal?

Oh, yes! Hawkmon showed me when I got here. Um, here we go!

[And so she proceeds to tell him the directions, with a little help from her Digimon partner.]

I hope that helps. Do you mind if I ask what room you're in? I'm in the fourth room on the second floor.

[he nods his head and-- wait a minute...] You too? I'm assigned to stay there as well.

Oh! You're our other roommate? This is great! I've been waiting until you got here before I took a room, just in case there was a specific one you would want more. Elizabeth already picked hers.

Yeah, I guess I am. [he shrugs.] You didn't have to wait. I'mm not really picky when it comes to rooms. [so long as he has a potential closet to sleep in!!]</small.

It's okay! I wasn't...sure who our new roommate was going to be, and I didn't want to take a room if another was preferred, so I slept on the couch with Hawkmon, and it wasn't uncomfortable--

[aww...] You... didn't have to, but thank you. I don't really have a preference though, so take whichever one you like.

W-Well...Elizabeth took the room on the far right, so I thought--Do you mind if I took the middle one, then? If you want that one, then I don't mind taking the one on the left.

[he shakes his head.] No, it's all yours.

[She still seems unsure, but nods her head once.]

Okay. If you're okay with it.

I'm sure of it. It really doesn't matter to me so long as I have somewhere to rest. [he pauses.] I'm Conner, by the way.

Marley. I'm...I'm Marley. It's nice to meet you, Conner. Or, it will be when you make it to the apartment.

It's nice to meet you too Marly. [and with that he nods his head.]

Well...[Awkward silences! Must fill or something!] I guess...I'll see you when you get here? Are you going to stop at the store first?

[he looks up in thought for a second before he nods his head.] Yeah, might as well. It'd be pointless to waste more energy on heading to the apartment first.

Okay. I just wanted to make sure, just in case something were to happen and--

She just doesn't want to think one time, and you take longer because then she'll have to worry.

[Wow, that is a brilliant shade of pink, Marley.]

[uh.... wow conner's not used to this kind of kindness??? he's not sure how to react.] I--

Ooooh! That makes sense, don't worry Marly! I'll let you know if we run into any trouble! [and with that falcomon winks as he hands the terminal back to conner.] I can take care of myself.

Clearly you can't with that big ole bump on your head!

If you hit your head, I can get a cold rag ready to put where you hit. There's no kitchen, or I'd make an ice pack.
