Ah.... excuse me but... is it normal for a digimon's evolution to be... really different in personality then originally?

[He looks back at where his partner is crying off screen]

I can't speak for everyone, but Yukito does become markedly different as he changes between his forms. Comparing Wisemon to Veemon, I'd have difficulty believing they were the same digimon.

Try thinking of it this way. Ordinarily, the different levels correspond to parts of the digimon life cycle, correct? Well, even a human can be quite different during different stages of their lives.
