Well, that was a good way to break a newcomer in to how this place runs, hm?

Raidou has been telling me a bit about how power levels work here. How this Lotusmon was a 'Mega' level, and so far only a few people can reach the level below it, 'Ultimate'.

I know I haven't been here long, I can't make assumptions about how things are done. But I'm worried. This city has no defense against her or any other powerful Digimon showing up again. I'm not sure the city can take that again. It's amazing that no one died.

I think... maybe we should talk about contingency plans.

Actually... Masaru-niichan can have his partner go to Mega.

[ She pauses for a few moments, frowning a bit before nodding. ]

But making plans is a good idea. We can't just depend on him or the chosen who were here before we all got here. Not if things keep getting worse.

Does he? And I think I heard that BlackWargraymon is Mega level as well. So that's something.

Oh. I... I haven't seen him around before. But if people are saying he's a Mega, then they're probably right.

I don't want to do that either. I mean, what we have to worry about has a Mega Digimon as a flunky. That's just... that's really, really bad.

Agreed. The odds are high they have more. There... isn't a level above Mega, is there?

... Masaru-niichan mentioned something called a "Burst Mode", but I don't think that's a different level. From what he said, ShineGreymon using it was still ShineGreymon.

I might have to look into this. Though I doubt Elecmon will be reaching Mega anytime soon.

Yeah. I mean, I don't think me and Biyomon are going to get him to Mega anytime soon either, and we have Ultimate already.

Well, as long as we all do our part we'll have no regrets.

Yeah, we definitely won't! I mean, it's not like we can really do more than what we're doing now. I mean, I'm pretty sure there's probably something like the Crests that are going to be needed to get to Mega here... and well, for me and Biyomon Masaru-niichan said that we weren't going to be able to get it until we REALLY need it.

Makes sense. Isn't that how it always is in the stories?

Yep! Big huge unstoppable bad guy, everyone fighting it and not doing much, and then BOOM! Suddenly superpowerful.
