Hey, did anyone else wind up bringing their cellphones here with them? I tried to check mine and it won't even turn on. I figured I'd at least be able to see my messages, even if I can't make any calls.

[ He flips it open again, pulls the battery out and then shoves it back in and still it won't work. Great. ]

So, am I the only lucky one having trouble here?

Yes...photographs of my parents and sister. I didn't have the physical copies on me when I was brought here, so being unable to access the digital ones is very disappointing.

You're not the only one. [ sighs, ] I'm thinking of asking some of the locals if they have any ideas. With any luck we can get stuff working again - even if it's only for a few minutes.

I wonder if they have the means of producing a solid version from the files on the projectors...
