[there is some static before a loud thumping is heard over the speakers. if you listen closely, you can here someone faintly asking Is this thing on?, followed by some muffled conversation. after that, the picture is adjusted and a blonde teenager's bust is shown]

Oh, thanks, sugarcube... Uh, hey there, everypony. [she waves at the screen, looking quite awkward, as though she weren't comfortable in her own skin] Th'name's Applejack. Ah got here a few days ago, but Ah've been... uh. Dealin' with some... stuff.

But now that Ah finally figured out how t'work this thing, Ah thought Ah'd try talkin' t'some of th'folks around here, 'cause Ah'm still not really understandin' everything. Monodramon's been a big help. [here, the device spins around, revealing the Digimon that is actually holding the D-Terminal. he waves too before focusing the screen on AJ again] An' Ah've read the information here over an' over. It's still a lot t'take in, yanno?

Ah guess what Ah wanna say is Ah'd be glad t'help y'all out, especially if savin' this world means Ah'll be able to help Equestria. Just lemme know what Ah should do first.

[Bearmon had tried to explain things to her when she'd first arrived a month ago but it had resulted in a lot of blank stares and questions of 'What?' to where both parties had given up and decided to just explore on their own.

And nice to meet you Applejack. I'm Yang. Still on the train to HospiTown, but we should be there in a day or so now. I'm sure you'll find someone to help you out before then.

I wouldn't say it's bad necessarily. It's not like anyone died.

Plus it resulted in a mass road trip and road trips are always fun. And of course now you get to enjoy the town while it's quiet because I can promise you that will not last long.

As usual, Perry is ready with his white board and marker. He's gotten pretty used to communicating this way, even if he often falls back on facial cues and body language. Most of the time though people just don't seem to be able to pick up on his meaning.

Would that be getting used to being human? I find a lot of...beings have trouble with that. I've considered making a guide.

[After a minute to let her read, he erases it and write a new message, now holding that up.]

Also hello. I'm Perry. I'll do what I can to help.

[That part of the introduction done, Perry lowers the board and gestures to the side. Now appearing next to him are two digimon. They both wear fedoras similar to Perry's. The Tapirmon wears his perched slightly sideways and he speaks first, floating beside Perry with a smile behind his elongated nose.]

We'll help too if we can. I'm Bartholomew.

[The other digimon, a Renamon, pushes her hat back slightly.]

I am Gertrude. You should be aware that you are not the first from Equestria. I imagine the others will come forward. They will be of a great help.

Well, howdy, y'all! Thanks for the concerns. Everypony here's been so friendly... Ah found my friends from Equestria, too, so Ah think Ah'll get the hang of it.

[Perry is glad to hear it, his shoulders relaxing a bit as the worry lines disappear. He now has to worry about incidents like nudity and people dying of starvation so honestly a guide wouldn't hurt.
