You know I think six or seven months in one place is the longest I have stayed anywhere besides home. Almost forgot what it was like, traveling to new places and running around them. It was kinda nice.

Not that I don't think this town is neat. Just feels like it took a long time getting here.

[ as usual, Ryudamon and Renamon are close by. and Ryudamon isn't going to let that one go. ]

That would be because you felt like you had to explore everything you could get your hands on.

[ Vixie gives Ryu a little nudge and the dragon makes a face. ]

Well I didn't mind it. I wanted to stay at Tree-Top Isle longer. You wouldn't let us go down.

For good reason! Someone has to be the responsible one here.

[ Sora and Vixie both break out laughing while the other digimon grumbles and tries to contain his grin. after it dies down, Sora gets his arms around his partners' shoulders, looking at the camera. ]

Anyway. We're here now. So I feel like I should catch up with the people that got here ahead of us. We should do something!

Flutes aren't exactly like his swords, but with digimon doing most of the fighting, there aren't many places to get decent weapons.

And Wheeljack's pretty good at wearing you out. He gives as good as he gets.

We don't think it's like "keeping" anything. He thinks that since his swords were kind of a part of himself, being made human kind of took that away.

But since, yeah, I am human, my keyblade wouldn't be. Actually, everything on my person just was kind of scattered around me when I arrived.

I ask because humans and Cybertronians have very different definitions of 'old.'

It wasn't just swords that being human took away from Wheeljack.

Yeah, I know. But as far as looks go... He looks only a few years younger than Cid.

First off-

[The feed changes to Video just for a bit. Just long enough for Bee to look into the camera and give Sora a casual two finger salute. Definitely not an old man. He looks a good few years younger than Leon, and maybe about Yuffie's.]

[This may be the first time he's seen Bee's face.]

[ and might be smirking juuuuust a little bit. ]

[He's smiling as he shakes his head. Then the feed cuts and it's back to text. Because that's how he rolls.]

Has Wheeljack told you a little about what Cybertronians are like?

Giant robots that live for a very, very long time. But that's about all that's been said, except that what my home calls a "heart" and a "spark" are pretty much the same thing.

That's right.

Cybertronians are also able to change themselves. We can transform into other forms- vehicles, aircrafts and in some cases, other organic life forms.

We are mech. We are this alt-form. Both of these are who we are.

So you're missing like half of who you are like this...

[ oh you're making him sad over here. His poor heart. ]

[Sora's starting to see the picture. He doesn't want Sora to feel sad, or to pity them for what they're missing. But a part of Bee still feels like he needs to prove something and that alt-form has always been his way to be useful to the team.]

We have to adapt and change to survive. It's in our nature, and in our spark.

We adapt and change in order to make a difference. So we can keep each other alive when our enemy already has so many tactical advantages.

I get that. Kinda. And maybe you can adapt and stuff, since you guys are pretty much soldiers... But that doesn't make it right that you're missing a part of yourself. You should be able to be whole.

[ and it's not just Bee or WJ that he feels that way about. ]

[To be honest, it's like he's missing a limb.]

If I could just have my alt-form and just one long stretch of open road...

There's lots of open road around HospiTown, and lots of ground to explore outside of that.

When I get my alt-form [Because he wants to think it's 'when' he gets it, not 'if' he gets it] the only place you'll see other cars is in the rear view mirror.
