You know I think six or seven months in one place is the longest I have stayed anywhere besides home. Almost forgot what it was like, traveling to new places and running around them. It was kinda nice.

Not that I don't think this town is neat. Just feels like it took a long time getting here.

[ as usual, Ryudamon and Renamon are close by. and Ryudamon isn't going to let that one go. ]

That would be because you felt like you had to explore everything you could get your hands on.

[ Vixie gives Ryu a little nudge and the dragon makes a face. ]

Well I didn't mind it. I wanted to stay at Tree-Top Isle longer. You wouldn't let us go down.

For good reason! Someone has to be the responsible one here.

[ Sora and Vixie both break out laughing while the other digimon grumbles and tries to contain his grin. after it dies down, Sora gets his arms around his partners' shoulders, looking at the camera. ]

Anyway. We're here now. So I feel like I should catch up with the people that got here ahead of us. We should do something!

[ both Sora and Vixie fix him with a look, but the dragon only has a wry grin. yeah, it hadn't been in circles. not REALLY. but it still felt pretty pointless at the time.

Something like that. Got here before my birthday which was in July, so... Yeah six months or a little over that.

I lived on the Islands forever. But some stuff happened so me and my friends had to travel to a lot of different worlds. Kinda didn't have time to sit still for too long.

What happened to you and your friends?

We got separated for a while. Our home kind of got sucked into the darkness for a while. It's back now, but it took a while for all of us to find each other and fix it.

That's a lot to have on your plate for someone so young. [He's well aware of the irony of the numerous Chosen Children being just as young, but all of this sounds like it took place before Sora got drawn into this world.] How old are you and your friends?

But Ryu's fine the way he is. And we haven't found anything yet. Kind of thinking about traveling to see Star City.

Star City? Can't say I've seen that. Probably slept through it on the train. Anythin' good there?

Kinda flew in here ourselves, really. Pretty easy to do when you have two flying digimon and can follow the tracks...

It really doesn't matter if there's anything good there or not. It's just somewhere to go to look around. And Star City is the closest. Feels like a good place to start getting to know the area.

We didn't used to, but now it's pretty common for us. Me and my friends, anyway.

Interesting? Yeah. Meeting new friends? Even better. I mean a lot of the words are so different from each other that it's cool to check 'em out.

But having friends there? It's kinda like having another place to call home too.

[Terra had been told the appearance of the boys he was supposed to be keeping an eye out for, one who supposedly knew him (through someone else's memories??), and one who was possibly just some random boy.

So he'd been keeping an eye out, as much as he wanted to leave HospiTown and see what the surrounding area had. Eventually it paid off. He was told there'd be two together.. but how many brown, spiky haired boys traveling with a fox and a dragon could there be?

Which means sooner or later (and more later than sooner) Sora and his partners have company. The silver haired boy Dorumon had spoken to wasn't immediately present, but it can't hurt to ask.

Probably Sora's used to strangers popping up out of nowhere. Ten years of growing means Sora's only vaguely familiar, not instantly recognized.]

Hey. [It has the sound of not wanting to be a bother to it, the sudden query.] Do you normally travel with a silver haired kid with a pair of digimon that argue a lot?

[Dorumon is not speaking up, yet. It's so rare Terra bothers to directly go say hello to people, he's not about to interrupt!]

[ it likely isn't too easy to find the trio either. Ryu wants to get familiar with the place in order to be able to be ready when the next battle comes ( as it is inevitable, he says ). Sora has other designs - just simply exploring and getting to know the place as he would any other. and Vixie? Vixie goes along for pretty much the same reasons as Sora, a smile on her face and trotting along in high spirits.

he's used to strangers popping up, yes. but in a few minutes? usually they're not strangers. even less so when all three heads turn in Terra's direction. Sora's eyes are wide enough that he doesn't catch the question. thankfully, Ryu is on top of it. ]

[ Sora had met Aqua here. talked with her. while A LOT of details are lost on him, Sora isn't going to forget faces. and this is one that he recognizes. one he has a name for. ]

"Oh good. We were told you'd be together and it's a little harder to make sure you've got the right people when you're separate!"

[It would definitely be easier to find a group of six than trios, but that can't be helped. Dorumon's proclamation, nearly a rebuke (but not quite) draws a light touch from Terra on top of his fuzzy purple head, which seems to remind the digimon of his manners. Chewing out strangers, even gently chewing them out, wasn't exactly a nice thing to do!]

It's good to know we have the right people.

['As he calls himself?' That's the important part, isn't it? Not what other people call you, but how you refer to yourself.]

He mentioned you and your friends would be in town soon, I'd been hoping to say hello.

[And maybe get some questions answered, simply for curiosity's sake. How could someone remember him but not actually have ever met him or seen him before? Terra wasn't particularly worried, but it was a puzzle and one he was interested in.

And then another puzzle is added to it. He's certain he's never met Sora before, beyond that vague familiarity. Met his little brother maybe, but certainly not this older boy. As Sora gets his name right, he's given a briefly startled .. and very much puzzled look. How many people he didn't know, knew him?]

Ahh, yes? Have we met?

[Briefly. Days ago for him, years ago for Sora, and even then it wasn't long. Dorumon looks just as surprised for a moment, ears perked.]

"You have a lot more friends than you told me, Terra."

No, I ... I guess, but--

Well we can't be together all the time, you know.

[ the Renamon puts her paws on her hips. not sassy, and still having a little bit of an impish grin. ]

But hey. You found us.

[ Ryu stays silent. just eying Terra and his partner. he had been present at the conversation between Aqua and Sora concerning some of this. the dragon is... somewhat interested in knowing how the kid is going to handle this. Sora really doesn't know how to. "oh hey you were in my dream and then Aqua told me your name" doesn't really have that great of a ring to it.

Sora nods though, hands locking behind his head. i stg he must have gotten that from Ven. the complicated stuff... doesn't matter too much, does it? ]

I think you might've been to the Destiny Islands when I was small. That's how I first met Aqua anyway. She was here for a little while when I first got here. Miiiight have brought you up.

Of course not. But when we were told you would be, we had no reason to think this would be wrong.

[Not a lie. Lie was too harsh. Terra and his partner could only go on what they were told - and what they were told didn't match up with reality. Maybe the replica just didn't pass on that someone was waiting. It wasn't worth getting really annoyed over as far as Terra was concerned, though his Dorumon clearly doesn't agree.

Terra's concerns are more the way he's being watched. Not just by Sora, but by one of the boy's digimon. Was he supposed to be familiar with Sora? Had they met in passing and he'd simply forgotten?]

I've only been there once, and just before I arrived here.. [That's definitely confusion. He knows he's never been there when someone Sora's age was 'young'.] I met a couple of little kids while I was there.

[But nobody Sora's age. He'd have remembered that. The same way he remembered the ghostly impression of what the future might hold for the silver-haired child. Mention of Aqua briefly overwhelms his puzzlement in surprise and clear interest. She was here? Did that mean she still was, or she'd left by now?]

Aqua! When was she here? Is she still here?

[Boy howdy his attention swapped fast.]
