[Whoops, looks like someone is having issues with the Terminal device. But hey! It's clicks to audio and the voice is Whirl's but there is something more... Mechanical to it, and it seems a bit further away than usual too.]

Slagging hell. Claw friendly my backside.

We got any good medics around here, cause I need to know what to do when you can't feel your head or hands anymore.

[Of course anyone near the outskirts of town can spot Whirl as he is, 30+ foot tall robot he is, but for now he's going to try and turn the terminal off. Enjoy the sounds of claws scraping and clacking against it and failing to turn it off.]

[Bumblebee's alt-form comes down the road. Vanguard hops out, jaw nearly hitting the floor. He lets out a wisecrack under his breath, one that doesn't even reach Whirl's ears probably. Bumblebee's surprise isn't evident until he transforms.

Bee's used to having bots to look up to, but this is ridiculous.]

[Primus, you guys are all tiny as hell. And Whirl so heard your wisecrack Vanguard, okay but not really he's not Red Alert.

And this is not ridiculous. Ridiculous would be if he was like... Overlord sized.]

[Though now that he's gotten over the sheer size of the other, he starts to really take in Whirl's appearance. Long, curving claws for hands. A single glowing yellow eye where a faceplate would normally be.

[He makes a 'hm' sound at Bee saying thanks, and sort of.

Stares at the other Autobot, his optic not not dimming or "blinking" even as he leans in a bit closer to Bumblebee.]

Okay what's got your tailpipe in a knot?

[HE SEES YOU FROWNING KID.]

[He doesn't turn away from the sight, intimidating as it might be. He just maintains eye contact as Whirl closes the distance.]

About if you might've been better off in my world.

[Hope Bee doesn't mind having that "face" up too close to his own.

And oh boy, at what Bee said about being better off in his world? That get's Whirl to actually... express something, his optic narrowing.]

You'd have to ask Wheeljack that, he knows the Whirl in your world.

[He guesses it shouldn't be a surprise that there's another double in his world. He's come across a lot of bots, but Whirl isn't one of them.]

[His frown only deepens, though. An example of what was deeply wrong with Whirl's world staring him right in the face. The unfairness of it roots Bee to his spot- he won't be stepping back.]

[Tilting his head to the side now, he doesn't know anything about the Whirl of 'Bee's universe other than that Wheeljack once said they're alike. In personality, he assumed.]

[And Bee not moving is a bit odd, Whirl is used to folks not liking him getting into their personal space.]

[His voice is steady, but a touch quieter.]

Empurata.

[Quiet for a moment and then...

Well, Whirl starts to laugh. As if Bee just told the funniest joke ever. Not that he did, but you know.]

[He can never tell how Whirl is ever going to react. The laughter is unsettling, and it isn't something Bee can find humor in. So Bee just waits.]

[That's one thing no one can do, tell how Whirl is going to react, as he laughs for a bit longer then he really should. One notable thing Bee might notice is the edges of Whirl's optic seems to waver a bit, kinda looks like crying.

But then again it's Whirl, he doesn't cry right?]

You're funny kid, because if how your Prime reacted to being told what Empurata is is a sign? It don't exist in your world.

[Neither the mention of Empurata, and Whirl's penchant for invading his personal space has made him turn away or step back.

But his eyes gradually widen as Whirl finishes. Bee should be relieved that nothing like this has touched his world. He should be.

In time, Bee's eyes become downcast, head slightly to the side, and brows so low his optics are just a blue sliver. ]

It shouldn't exist in any world.

[Silence on Whirl's end, for what feels like much too long before he leans back from Bee and.

Laughs again, poking the smaller 'bot with a claw.]

Cute way of thinking, but certainly not how life works, kid.

[He takes a half step back to account for the unexpected ~~boop~~ contact.]

No. I don't suppose it does.

[Wishful thinking is only ever that.]

[But he looks up again at the taller bot anyway.]

There has to be someone on your side trying to stop this...

Well, the war took care of that.

[Honestly any Empurata victims that are still around were all from before the war, it's not like the practice was, well practiced during the war.]

Since it was a pre-war punishment handed out by the old Senate, little guy.

[He's leaning back now as well, crossing his arms over his chest now.]

[The emotion on Bee's face isn't directed at whirl. But his eyes narrow again, though this time not in sympathy.]

And the people who gave it out?

[Here's hoping the war took care of them too, whether they're long gone, or far, far away from any seat of power.]

[The answer to that question is "The decepticons probably blew off their heads" but really, Whirl is tired of this line of conversation. Because he's standing up now, or at least crouching less.]

Eh, we're done now. You ever been flying?

[What? ~~But Bee's not done feeling indignant on your behalf Whirl.~~

He just blinks up at Whirl, confused.]

You mean... like on a ship?

No, I mean like this.

[And it's quick, and with a TSCH TSCH TSCHU sound and Whirl transforms. Enjoy the space copter in front of you, Bee. His rotors running to keep him aloft instead of just going thump on the ground.]

[Bee gets whiplash talking to you sometimes, Whirl. He's still a little subdued, and solemn at the previous topic until Whirl transforms.

[It's been some time since he watched a bot go into an aerial alt-mode without having the need or reflex to dive for cover. Bee takes a step back in pleasant surprise. He may be a little impressed. Then, a hint of a smile.]

[If Bee did dive for cover Whirl would've laughed and laughed and that would be the end of this conversation.]

[A few quick strides towards whirl and he's close enough to examine the other. He certainly looks stable enough to carry Bee, which makes his answer lean a liiittle more towards yes. More than it already is, anyway.

Though he does pause long enough to ask.]
