[A Tapirmon appears on screen. He is wearing a brown fedora that matches that of the adult sitting behind him. The adult (appearing in his late 20s) has teal hair and deep brown eyes that seem to be rather expressive. This is Perry and he looks a little nervous and continues to pull at the orange scarf around his neck, adjusting it. Tapirmon, meanwhile, looks like he's just been given very serious news and is troubled by it. He glances up at Perry once but shakes his head and looks to the screen. When the Tapirmon speaks it is with a British accent.]

Greetings friends. I am Bartholomew and this is Perry. My partner would like to apologize in advance for any hassle this may cause, but he is not able to communicate as most of us are used to. He has requested that I serve as a liaison when we are out and about the city, but that he will also likely be utilizing the texting function of the D-Terminal in order to communicate with others. He also wished for me to let you know that his sign language is a tad underdeveloped since this condition is actually a recent development.

Silent he may be, but Perry would like to assure everyone here that he is more than willing to provide assistance if it means that he can be returned to his proper home in a prompt manner. There are apparently two children that he likes to keep an eye on that may be placed in untold danger if he is not around to see to things.

[Tapirmon looks to Perry.]

Does that sound about all you wanted to say, sir?

[Perry gives the audience a thumbs up. He then gestures at the door.]

Oh! Yes. We reside in Room F2 - 009. Perry may not talk much but he has told me that he is a decent mechanic and can operate a plethora of machines if anyone is in need of that sort of assistance.

[Perry nods and tips his hat to the screen.]

Good day.

[Tapirmon ends the feed.]

[Perry smiles sheepishly and gives a shrug. Well, what are you going to do, huh? Sorry.

He considers the request, tilting his head and putting a finger to his chin. What is it?]

[She still thinks Perry is weird, but if he wants to help...]

It's my cellphone. It won't turn on at all, but there's pictures and music on it. I'd kinda like to get them off, since they remind me of home...there are other people who want the same thing, too.

[Perry considers it for a moment. He's not sure he has the right stuff for that. He looks uncertain when he gives a nod. He'll check it out at least. But he makes no promises]

[Well, most of that is stuff Hibiki can't tell. She just sees a nod.]

Thanks! It'd mean a lot to us if you could figure somethin' out. Do you want me to bring it by later?

[Perry gives her a thumbs up. Later is fine. Tinkering with things will give him something to do at any rate.]

...Ya can text with these things, too. Would that be easier, or is texting not your thing?

[He looks down at the keyboard and then types out a message.]

Just not really my thing I guess.

Oh. Well, it's okay. I'm just kinda worried about ya. I've never really met anyone as quiet as you. Even Waniko talks more than ya do, and she's an alligator!

No need to worry.

[Wait...what?]

You have a talking alligator?

[Well it actually wasn't that weird in retrospect.]

Yep! I have an alligator, a hamster, a rabbit, a dog, a cat, a flying squirrel, a chipmunk, parrot, snake, and a pig...

[She counts them off on her fingers. Yep, she has them all.]

We talk all the time. Hamuzou is the most talkative...he's kinda like the man of the house. I hope they're doin' alright without me...

That's a lot of pets.

I'm sure someone will look after them.

I guess there's no point in worryin' about it now...I think you're right, though! Someone's definitely noticed I'm missin' by now...and Hamuzou can take care of the others, too.

[Perry nods. Exactly right. Tapirmon decides to rejoin the conversation.]

There is no sense in worrying when such things are out of your control, miss. It will only make you stress and possibly even get sick.
