[A Tapirmon appears on screen. He is wearing a brown fedora that matches that of the adult sitting behind him. The adult (appearing in his late 20s) has teal hair and deep brown eyes that seem to be rather expressive. This is Perry and he looks a little nervous and continues to pull at the orange scarf around his neck, adjusting it. Tapirmon, meanwhile, looks like he's just been given very serious news and is troubled by it. He glances up at Perry once but shakes his head and looks to the screen. When the Tapirmon speaks it is with a British accent.]

Greetings friends. I am Bartholomew and this is Perry. My partner would like to apologize in advance for any hassle this may cause, but he is not able to communicate as most of us are used to. He has requested that I serve as a liaison when we are out and about the city, but that he will also likely be utilizing the texting function of the D-Terminal in order to communicate with others. He also wished for me to let you know that his sign language is a tad underdeveloped since this condition is actually a recent development.

Silent he may be, but Perry would like to assure everyone here that he is more than willing to provide assistance if it means that he can be returned to his proper home in a prompt manner. There are apparently two children that he likes to keep an eye on that may be placed in untold danger if he is not around to see to things.

[Tapirmon looks to Perry.]

Does that sound about all you wanted to say, sir?

[Perry gives the audience a thumbs up. He then gestures at the door.]

Oh! Yes. We reside in Room F2 - 009. Perry may not talk much but he has told me that he is a decent mechanic and can operate a plethora of machines if anyone is in need of that sort of assistance.

[Perry nods and tips his hat to the screen.]

Good day.

[Tapirmon ends the feed.]

He says it's too long of a story to write out but that it...oh my...[squinting at paper.] involves a mad scientist and a laser.

[Tapirmon shakes his head and looks up at Perry. Seriously, Perry, THAT'S the story you're going with? Perry just shrugs at the look. It's what happened just before he got here, he doesn't have to tell everyone that it was completely unrelated to actually losing his voice. He's just gotta have SOME kind of cover in place in case the Flynn-Fletchers ever show up here. Tapirmon sighs.] He's not quite sure what it did exactly.

Oh... [Well, that seems to be enough for him.] Okay! It's nice to meet you, anyway! I'm Choco! And this is my partner, Fluttershy!

[He turns the D-Terminal so the screen focuses on Fluttershy, who gives a little nervous wave.] H...H-hello...

[Perry nods, looking smug. Tapirmon just seems unsure about all of this. Probably because he now knows what is REALLY going on but a promise is a promise...even if he's not sure lying is the best way to go about it.]

[My goodness, that's an incredibly dapper Tapirmon. With such a wordy vocabulary to boot! Arcee stares at the screen, almost horrified, then gives a look at her own Tapirmon on the other side of her room who is...playing with a flashlight.

That seems rather harsh, miss. All of you humans act differently from one another. We digimon are much the same. We each have our own unique personality traits just as you do. Just because he and I are both Tapirmon does not mean that we are meant to act in exactly the same manner.

Surely you have noticed this with other digimon.

[Perry just shrugs and nods at Tapirmon's explanation.]

[Perry and Tapirmon exchange looks. Perry shrugs.]

[Perry nods. But then writes down something and hands it to Tapirmon.]

You can consider him a jack of all trades. He has a knack for such things, but he won't promise that he can fix EVERY thing. Did you need something looked at?

Ah, did you say F2-009? ::Have a somewhat surprised young blonde girl staring at the screen.:: That must mean we are roommates. Though... I wonder where the other people who lived here went... ::Then again, with all the confusion from the fighting that ended recently, she has been a little lost for a bit.::

Would you rather talk in person? It seems strange to be using a computer to talk to someone in the same apartment.

Indeed we did. So you must be one of our roommates.

[Perry looks a little surprised that they are taking over the room of someone else. He looks around but there isn't much indication that there were prior occupants. He then nods and gets up. Tapirmon follows, obviously not wanting to leave his partner behind. It does make more sense to talk in person.]

[Bartholomew looks to Perry who starts drawing something. Perry then holds up a picture. It's of a lanky man, hunched over, and wearing a lab coat.]

It's my cellphone. It won't turn on at all, but there's pictures and music on it. I'd kinda like to get them off, since they remind me of home...there are other people who want the same thing, too.
