1st TRUE STORY ♫ {VIDEO | ACTION}
{ Once an idol, always an idol. It was Rise's day off and she decided to go to the arcade. The first thing she wanted to do was play the 'Dance Step Mania' Game. While she was in Tokyo back in her world, it had always been her favorite game and often disguised herself just to play it in peace.
The feed starts with Rise's introduction. She was winking and smiling to the camera. Once in a while, even blowing a kiss. She turned the camera and showed a very grouchy Lucemon. It looked like Rise had dragged him there. }
Good Morning, everyone! It's Rise and I am here at the arcade about to play a game called --- say it, Lucy!
Say it with more life!
...
Close enough ... Now, let Rise amaze you!
{ Rise had Lucemon hold the camera towards her and began her first game. After selecting a song and setting it on basic first, she began to dance. It was an upbeat song and she was scoring very high. There was no sign of panting or hardship. Looks like she really was used to it. For her, this was no different from the dances she did as an idol. }
{ When the song ends she turns to the camera again and gives a deep bow. But she wasn't done. }
I was wondering if someone else out there knows how to play this game. If you do, why don't you come over and try to challenge me?
I warn you, I'm pretty good!

[When Rise's done, she'll find Terra toward the front of the arcade, playing a fighting game to pass the time with Gotsumon cheering her on.]

[ Then cut the connection.
After her last competitor of the day, Rise quietly walks up behind her and starts cheering too. Not that she knew much about fighting games. ]
Go, Terra---ah! Look out!
[action]
[She catches Rise's voice mixed with Gotsumon's and she smirks. The opposing fighter -- muscled and huge -- looks like he's got her nimble player on the ropes, but with a few quick buttons and a flick of the joystick, Terra unleashes a combo which knocks him into and then through the wall. K.O.]
Oooo, wow! Yay, Terra, yay!
[Well, she can't help it, Terra turns around and bows.]

Rise guessed that everyone probably had their strengths. Rise had Dance games and Karaoke, Terra had fighting games.
It was strange how two things could be so similar and yet so different. ]
Congratulations, Terra!
[action]
Thanks. It was really nothing, though. Computer's not much of a challenge compared to a real person.
[action]
You're just being modest ...
Come on! Lets go get a soda. After dancing for two hours I could really use one.
[action]
[It's nice to go out, chat with girls. She'd never realized it until high school, and it's something she's reminded of now.
Away for sodas. With Palette Town right next to such a big shopping area, of course there's a place to get some.] So, how many victims? [It's pretty obvious that Rise "won."]
[action]
[ At her question, Rise grinned and looked very smug. She had a few losses actually. One or two. But she still had more wins than losses. ]
Not as many as you might think. I'd say five wins and two losses.
But ... not bad, right?
[action]

[action]
[Gotsumon tugs at Terra's arm.] I wanna watch her next time! Can we? Please!
Uh, okay, Gots, sure. [Excitable little kid...]
[action]
[ Rise turns to Gotsumon and pats him on the head. She can still remember him becoming so huge during that fight ... it was amazing he could be this cute digimon that is more like a kid than anything. ]
I'll even dedicate my next win to you.
[action]
I guess you've got a point. Either way, you've gotta be pretty good with that record. I'll have to stop by next time and watch some. More of an audience than just the cute boys. [Teasing.]
[action]
[ She was joking. Wally was there and saw everything she'd been up to and saw for himself. Not that Wally was the jealous type. ]
Besides, I might be off the market but you should definitely look around. What kind of guy is your type anyway?
Tall and dark? Pale and pretty?
[action]
I don't really have a type...
But sorta more, scrawny, funny guy.
[action]
You must really like that guy ...
[ She had to. Even now, she was still thinking of him. ]
[action]
[Yeah, she guesses Rise has her. Terra's smile turns contemplative, a little sad.]
To be honest? I...didn't really have a lotta guys I liked back home. I was kinda busy. So, in a way, he was sorta...my first... [love?] ...crush.
Or, maybe something else. [She says hurriedly.] And since it's been, there've been people, but it's different, sorta.
[That enough of a spill?]
[action]
[ It was partly true. She was busy but also because there was a clause in her contract that forbids her to date. ] Is it someone I know? [ Teasing. ]
He has to be, otherwise why are you keeping it such a secret.
[action]
She blushes and smiles.] His name's Beastboy, sorta. Well, Gar. He goes by a lot these days.
[Obviously she hasn't been watching the feed close as she thought; she has no idea Rise and Beastboy have met.]
[action]
You like Beastboy?! [ Which was probably a pretty bad move since Beastboy worked in the arcade. So he couldn't be very far. ]
[action]
[Apparently Rise's aware of him? It's hard not to be, Terra supposes, but still.]
[action]
[ This was still too much of a surprise. She wasn't even aware they were form the same world. But she supposed that everything made so much sense now. Lanky ...
A moment later, she becomes quiet. Terra, you can let her talk now. ]
[action]
[Can she, Rise? CAN SHE REALLY?
Terra slowly removes her hand, quite flustered.] ...Shhhh.... [What the hell more does she say?]
[action]
But in a way it did make a lot of sense. The first time she and Terra talked, she was talking about how she hurt the guy she liked. It did make sense that why she didn't talk about Beastboy.
She is whispering now. ]
Sorry ...
I wasn't sure you even knew each other.
